Dalton fanfics {one shots}

Big surprise

We've been married for 5 years now, and yesterday I figured out I was pregnant!! YESS! Pregnant! I decided I would tell him in a clever way, so I put a bun in our oven. When he opens it hopefully he'll catch on:)

Dalton just parked his car in the garage, and he's walking in the front door.
"What's for dinner, baby?" He asks as he opens the oven. He sees the buns and he just picks them up and sets them on the table.
"Why are there buns in our oven, (y/n)?"
I'm surprised he didn't catch on; I'll figure out a different way to tell him tomorrow:/
"I'm going to cook something different tonight," I replied searching on google for something to cook with buns.
___________________Well today is the second attempt to tell him what cute little thing is growing inside of me.:) I decided to make some cupcakes that have the word "baby" on them and have them ready for him when he gets home. The cupcakes are chocolate with mint green frosting and sprinkles that spell out "baby".

Here's Dalton....
"Here babe." I said handing him a cupcake. He read it then smiled and continued eating it. I'm starting to get a little mad each time he doesn't catch on. It's already taken 2 shots to try.

Today is the 3rd attempt and I've came up with something that he can't miss! It's a speghetti brand called "Prego" and I'm going to put "I'm" Infront of it and see how that works out:)

He's home, once again, and I just hope he catches this. He walks in and sees the bottle of speghetti sauce and says,"OH, cool we're having speghetti tonight!" I'm really mad right now, so he leaves and I proceed to cook speghetti.

Dinners ready and I tell him I need to tell him something. He comes in a fixes both of us a plate and says,"What's wrong, sweetheart?"
I start crying, and he gets up and comes around the table and hugs me really tight, and says,"whatever's going on, I'm here and I always will be."
I look him in the eye and say,"You're going to be a dad, and I wasn't sure how you'd take it, and I've tried 3 times to tell you but each time you ended up just looking at the stuff and not even acknowledging the fact that I was trying," he stops me with a kiss and whispers,"I can't wait for this baby," he returns to his seat and looks at me and smiles.

Sorry about not updating for a while:/ I've been busy with working on a play and state test and HS band auditions and so much more, but I'm back. But again I might not update as much anymore because I have 9 wks test next week then exams the next. Then I'm headed to Colorado with some family:) super excited;)
