Like the sky

We gaze into each other's eye while we pass each other in the hall, and instantly fall in love. His blue eyes are the color of the sky.
Oh god, he's coming over here....
"Hi (y/n)."
"Hi Dalton."
"Are you..by any chance...um, free Friday night,"He asked scratching his neck.
"I don't have anything planned," I replied back with a shy grin.
"Um, would you like to go to the movies with me?"
"Yah. Sure," I replied screaming on the inside.
"Okay I'll see you there."

It's Friday and well I'm at the movie theater. Next to Dalton, and.....his girlfriend. We're halfway through the movie and she hasn't even stopped playing with his hair and giggling. He just looks extremely uncomfortable....
"Hey, my mom needs me back at home," I said lying.
"Oh, is everything alright?"
"Yah...its just...this thing."
"Well alright I'll see you Monday," he said smiling through his perfect teeth.
His teeth are beautiful. His eyes are beautiful. His style is beautiful. His personality. Everything.

I'm at home and it's 11:00. It's really not that late. I guess I could do some research on this girlfriend. What's her name? Oh yeah, Riley.
I found her Facebook, and there's a lot of pictures of her with different guys and all of them within two weeks of each other. They all look like jocks and popular kids, but then there's the cutest one of all. Dalton. His spiky blonde hair, his eyeliner, his docs, his eyes. O my gosh his eyes. It's sunny in the picture and it makes his eyes look 100x bluer than they are. He's perfect. She looks like the queen and Dalton looks uncomfortable, once again.

It's Monday, and Dalton walks up to me and says," hey (y/n)...I was wondering if maybe...if you don't mind....if you'd like to go out with me?"
"Don't you have a girlfriend," I asked.
"Not anymore, she was cheating on me with some jock, and all she wanted was someone to gossip to, and I'm just not that guy, and plus I've liked you for a while now," he replied with a smile.
"Oh, in that case, yeah. I would love that."
