Dalton fanfics {one shots}

Colorado

Dalton has decide to take me on a surprise vacation. He is such a sweetheart. I don't know where we're going, but he has packed for me and him and says he's got it "under control."
Well, here we go.

We've been on the road for a while now and he says we have 5 minutes until we are there.
He talks to me as we ride and....O MY GOSH! COLORADO! WE ARE IN COLORADO! I've been telling him I want to go to Colorado forever! We are and staying in "Town and Country Cottages." We walk to our room and there is a beautiful waterfall and a wooden swing outside by some picnic tables, and the room in small and cozy.
"Get some sleep, (y/n)," he says.
"Why?"
"We're going to Seven Falls tomorrow."
And before I knew it I was out.

"Wake up, baby," he says as he leans over the bed and kisses my forehead. I smell bacon, eggs, biscuits, and sausage. He cooked? Aww, he's so sweet.
"Come on,(y/n)..... We're going to Seven Falls, remember?"
"Oh yah!" I jump up and run into the bathroom and take a shower, brush my teeth and my hair, and come out of the bathroom to find Dalton asleep on the bed.
I throw a pillow at him and say,"Who's asleep now?"
"Oh, yah lets go," he said in his sleepy voice.

We go park in the parking lot and let the Trolly take us up to the falls.
"Am I suppose to walk up all 200 steps?" I ask.
"Well, I am. You don't have to."
"Alright, fine!" I say jokingly.
By the time we get finished with the first 50 steps, we are out of breath, but we keep walking.
"Finally!" He breathed out
"But we gotta hike to the very top!" I say ,once again, jokingly.
"Alright, let's go." He says as he walks up.
I just stare at him surprisingly before I start walking up, realizing he wasn't kidding.

It took an hour, but we finally made it to the top, and it's beautiful! It's so....wow.
I stare at Dalton because he looks so beautiful staring out into the open.
"Let's sit here and watch the sunset, baby," he said.
We sat down on the edge of the cliff and just watched as the sun set.
He put his arm around my shoulder and I leaned my head on his, and he Leaned over and kissed my forehead and said,"I love you."
