Chapter 1 My Average Life?

My name is Shauntae Dunsford, I'm 13. I guess I should probably start from the beginning, my life was well.. pretty average. I wanted those good grades in school, and I am a fangirl a lot of girl's are I mean with all the cute guys. Now I love Hunter Rowland he is so upbeat, fun, happy, and not to mention cute. He is probably who I fan girl over most. Anyway,I guess you could describe me as in the middle of girly and a tomboy. I like sports and wearing makeup and getting dressed up nice. Anyway let's get in to my story. The bright sunshines ray hit my tired face as I groaned. I slowly got up out of bed, I looked around for my phone with tired eyes. "There it is" I grasped my phone I clicked on my phone eagerly. I seen I had a text from my best friend Amber. She asked if I was excited! excited? I replied excited for what? I typed it fast. Suddenly I heard my mom say "Shauntae breakfast is ready" "I'll be right down" I called back to her. I quickly slipped in to high waisted shorts and put a pink shirt on I ran to brush through my hair. I proceeded to go down the stairs till I arrived in the kitchen. My mom had pancakes on the table I smile and said "thanks mom!" "No problem honey it is your birthday!". I sat down and firmly grasped the cold fork between my fingers. Suddenly I felt my thigh being vibrated "Finally" I exclaimed. I put down the fork and pulled out my phone Amber said she has a surprise for my birthday. I typed back what is it?? Amber replied you'll have to wait to find out. I slid my phone back into my pocket. I started to dig into my pancakes the whole time I ate my mind wondered to every possible thing Amber could have done. I looked up at the stove clock the stove displayed 8:15 "shoot I better get going or i'll miss my bus". I rushed to slip on my sneakers I ran down the road till I reached my bus just in time I thought to myself. My bus slowly edged toward where I stood with a row of others. I climbed up the steps till I reached where I seen my other friend Sky he smiled when she saw me. I sat next to her "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Sky yelled I looked at her startled. Sky is that really upbeat person she also comes with the loud mouth trait. I turned so we were facing eachother we both bursted out laughing we can never be serious. The rest of the bus ride we talked about Magcon the number one thing Amber,Sky and me had in common. "thank god its friday" I said to Sky "yes! I can't handle any more work" "Preach" I giggled to her. Our bus finally slowed down as we approached our schools main doors. Sky and I stood as we watched no kid let us out ahead of them. As we walked off the bus last I could see Amber waiting ever so motionless waiting for us. We walked toward her and smiled we all group hugged as I could hear the bus tires edge away from school. "Amber can you tell me the birthday surprise yet?" "Yes" she said almost exploding with happiness. Suddenly the school bell made that horrible sound we hated it's annoying ring almost bursting my eardrums. We quick walked into the school "Tell me at lunch okay?" "Its for you me and Sky" Sky look up like a kid that just got candy smiling so wide. We drifted off to our classes we were all in different classes. Before I went to class I walked toward my locker punching in my locker combination 667. I looked at the schedule taped in my locker. I dragged my finger across the smooth paper till I reached the big bold letters DAY6 I scanned the paper with my eyes till I seen period 1 math period 2 science etc.. I then proceeded  to grab my textbooks for the day. I walked to my first class math "math eww!" I quickly realized I said it out loud, Soon I arrived at my math class. It felt like forever finally, it was lunch I slid all the way to my locker I rushed to open it I threw my books back in my locker. I ran to the cafeteria sliding in the table where me Amber and Sky sit everyday. I turned eagerly awaiting Amber and Sky to tell me what was my surprise was. Finally they walked toward me "What is it!! tell me!" I yelled louder than I realized I had. "Okay eager beaver" Amber said in a taunting voice Sky was
smirking at me. "I got us all Magcon tickets for Sunday!" I sat there staring blankly at her.
