Addy's p.o.v.

-flashback-

"Mommy, please! Unkie Al said he'd take me to da oh-sin."

I chuckled lightly at the way my daughter pronounced 'ocean', but my nerves were still a tad uneasy. "Baby, I don't know..."

"But mommy, da oh-sin! Daddy said I could go!" She whined.

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Fine, but I'm warning you, Allister, if she gets hurt, I swear to God I will beat you do-"

"Okay, Addy, geeze, I get it. I won't let her out of my sight." Sounded from the background.

"Better not, because I will not hesitate to hurt you."

"Okay! Relax, Addeline, we'll be back in a few weeks, alright?"

"Alright..." I mumbled.

-end flashback-

I sighed, rubbing the tears from my eyes. I missed my daughter. She had left only two days ago to go on a month long vacation in Florida with my brother. I don't even remember why I let her leave.

"She'll be fine."

I looked up to the doorway where the voice had come from.

"I know..I just miss her."

He sighed. "I miss her too."

I smiled at Jack. It had been two weeks exactly since we had made up, and he had been here everyday since. Sure, his bandmates were getting suspicious, well, all besides Matt who knew what was going on, and was definitely not happy about it. After Jack reminded them that he had a daughter that he hadn't known for the past three years, they kind of shut up. Every day that passed, though, I felt more and more guilty. I felt like some greedy bitch that just couldn't make up her mind. I cared about them both, though. Whether it was in the same way, I wasn't sure. Things weren't really making sense right now. I felt the bed shift and looked over to see him slide under the covers.

He grabbed my hand and kissed my cheek before snuggling up to me. "It'll be okay."

About twenty minutes later, my phone vibrated. I frowned and grabbed it off the stand, answering it without paying attention to who it was.

"Hello?"

"Hey, babydoll."

My eyes went wide. I should have fucking looked.

"Oh, hey, Adam."

Jack perked up from beside me to listen and let go of my hand.

"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you I'll be home tomorrow, sweetie."

Tomorrow? I knew he would be making his way home soon, but I didn't think it would be tomorrow. After Al's tour, Adam had gone to California to see his family.

"Oh, alright, cool."

"Is everything okay?"

I witheld a sigh and spoke cheerily. "Yeah, everything's fine, babe. I'm just a little tired."

"Well get some sleep. Al has Lace, right?"

I looked over at Jack awkwardly. "Yeah."

"Good, because then we've got some alone time to-"

I covered the face of my phone, sprinting into the bathroom and locking myself in. I stood there awkwardly in silence as Adam expressed his sexual desires.

"Addy?"

"Yeah?" I answered quickly. Perhaps too quickly.

"Oh, just making sure you were still there."

"Yep, I'm here..."

"Okay, good, well, anyway, like I said, I'll be home tomorrow and since Allister has Lace for a while we can have some fun."

Gross.

I frowned, but my answer didn't match my expression. "Yeah, sure, sounds good."

He laughed. "Alright, well, I gotta go."

"Okay, see ya."

"I love you." He murmured.

"I love youtube." I slurred quickly, hoping he wouldn't catch my exact words. He hadn't.

"I'll see you tomorrow, dear." I could practically hear the smile in his voice.

I frowned and guiltily unlocked and opened the bathroom door. Jack was staring straight at me, his arms crossed over his chest.

"You had phone sex, didn't you?" He face had a slight glimmer of humour but also a hint of frustration.

"No! But he did describe everything he plans on doing to me tomorrow." I groaned and buried my face in his chest.

"I've never seen someone so upset about having sex with their fiance." Jack chuckled.

"I'm upset because my fiance isn't the one I want to have sex with."

His eyebrows raised. "That sounds suggestive..."

"If I didn't feel disgusting, it might be."

He frowned and wrapped his arms around me.

"Addy, it's gonna be okay."

"I'm a whore, aren't I?"

He sighed. "No, Little Red, you aren't. You don't want more than one person in your bed. You're just stuck. Stuck between doing what's right and following your heart."

"Wait, following my heart isn't what's right?"

He sighed again. "What's right would be for you to be with Adam, and I'd just become Lacey's father."

"..And my heart?"

He leaned his forehead against mine. "It's pretty clear where your heart is."
