The lights from the windows shined bright in my eyes I looked over on the nightstand and read the clock: 6:02 a.m. I picked up my phone and had two messages one from Sly and the other one from Ava. The first message read:

Sly :Nigga gone be a little late today for work had a date with this bad I mean bad ass chick 😂last night I'll be in at 8. 🖕🏼✌🏽

I shook my head and laughed Sly will always been a player ain't no changing that. I read the next message from Ava:

Ava: I don't know about you but I can't stop thinking about what happened last night....😏.

I smiled at the text, what harm could it do of me and Ava started fucking with each other? I know it's wrong to even think like that because I don't wanna hurt Lisa.

I got up and sat on the edge of the bed, I looked over not to see Lisa in bed I got up and walked over to the bathroom door that's when I heard Lisa puking her guts out I opened the door to find her sitting on the floor hovered over the toilet. I walked over to her and sat on the tub.

"You okay ?" I asked. She looked over at me and smiled.

"Yeah baby I'm okay I think I ate something bad or got a bug I'll take some medicine when do you have to be for work ?"

" Uhm.. At seven o'clock why?" She looked up at me and got up from off of the floor and went over to the sink and began brushing her teeth, I looked at her waiting on an answer. She finally finished brushing her teeth and she looked at me in the mirror.

"Oh, I just wanted to go out to lunch today that's all?"

"Well I have a lot of work to do today with Sly and Ava where doing this business project with someone outside the company I'll let you know around ten if I can come to lunch."

"Okay, well I have a late client tonight so I won't be home till around ten or 11." I looked and shooked my head one minute she's the Lisa I knew back in high school then she's this sneaky Lisa is can't stand maybe I should just let her go.

" Alright, get your money I'm going to go get ready for work I'll see you tonight or in the morning." I washed my face and brushed my teeth and when I was done I hopped in the shower, I saw Lisa go back into the room.
I finished up in the shower and I walked in the bedroom drying my hair with a towel to find Lisa all in her phone.

"I wonder who she texting?" I ignored her like she was doing to me and walked over to my dresser and grab a pair of boxers and some black dress socks and put them on the bed. I then made my way to my walk in-closet and flipped through the suits I had until I came across one I liked the button down one I stumbled across was a bright red with a black tie and the slacks were black and the suit jacket was also black.

I decided on wearing the button down with the slacks, I then walked out of the closet to find Lisa was now in the bathroom but she left her phone on the nightstand. I threw the clothes on the bed and grab her phone and tapped on the home button and a picture of Lisa and me showed up I slid over to the unlock screen i knew her code was my birthday like in my phone her birthday is my code I typed in my birthday: 02-04-1998, failure to unlock!

That can't be right that's her code, why would she change it ? I heard the shower cut off I locked her phone back and placed it back on the nightstand, I got up and went to my side of the bed and began putting on my clothes. Lisa came in the room and looked at me and smiled I looked back at her and gave her a half smile.

"What's wrong ?" She asked.

"Nothing just a lot on my mind."

"Well I could come by the office and bring you your favorite dessert."
