Yazz
(Saturday night.)
I sat in the bed flipping through the tv until I found something to watch. Lisa was getting ready to go out with her sister and her friends. I was still upset with her from yesterday so, I wasn't in the mood to deal with her I was glad she was leaving the house to be honest I really wanted some time to myself. I heard my phone my phone ring: *Ring, Ring, Ring !* I picked it up it was Ava, I answered it.
"Wassup Ava-Mava ?"
"Hey Yazz, I was just calling to check up on you."
"Oh, why you calling to check up on me ?"
"You really gone ask that ?" She said.
"Yeah, I'm serious."
"Really serious Yazz you went off on Sly for no reason. Have you even talked to him you know your going to see him at tomorrow?"
"Nah, I haven't I really don't care to." I looked over at Lisa and she had on a tight fitted red dress and some red bottoms. She saw me looking at her and came in the room and gave me a little spin to show off her outfit.
"You like my outfit?" Lisa asked. I shook my head yes.
"Hello Yazz you still there?" Ava asked.
"Yeah I'm here hold on real quick." I put my phone on mute and started talking to Lisa.
"So where you said you was going again?" I asked. She looked over at me and smiled.
"Bae you remember I told you I'm going out with my sister and my friends and I'll be back tomorrow." I looked at her confused and shook my head.
"You ain't tell me you weren't coming home tonight but okay do you Lisa."
"Well things changed. What you think I'm cheating on you Yazz?"
"I didn't say all that I'm just say you ain't say you wasn't coming home."
"I'm telling you now though."
"Man, whatever Lisa." I took my phone off of mute and finished my conversation with Ava.
"Yeah I'm back now what were you say?"
"Who are you on the phone with ?" Lisa asked. I looked over at her and put my attention back to the phone.
"Who are you on the phone with Yazz?" She walked over to me and I moved away from her and just looked at her.
"Why are you so worried who's on the other line of my phone ?"
"I just asked a simple question."
"Well my answer is nun of you fucking business, aren't you going to be late ?"
"You know what fuck you Yazz, I hope you aren't in a pissy mood when I get home tomorrow night because I really getting tired of this bullshit." She grabbed her purse, her jacket, and her over night bag and walked out the room.
"Like I was saying what where you saying?"
"So you just gone let her leave out like that?" Ava asked.
"What?"
"So you just gone let her leave out like that."
"Yup, she been doing this shit for the longest she wanna know who I'm on the phone with but, I can't even get into her fucking phone anymore."
"Well everybody has had a rough patch in there relationship maybe that's what y'all are going through."
"Probably but then I start to think about the shit Sly has brought up in the past."
