I'm Dying For You

Chapter 6

"Whoa! Calm down there little guy!" someone said coming through the door behind Kirstie and Kevin. Kirstie jumped and almost made the black carved chair she was sitting in fall. She stood up and flipped around to see the mystery person. The mystery guy had brown hair and bright green eyes. Kirstin thought he looked vaguely familiar. As soon as he walked in, the room was dead silent.
"Avi! My friend!" Kevin exclaimed.
"Hey Kurvy!" the mystery man, who's name was supposedly was Avi, replied.
"This is Kirstie who is the girl, Mitch has the brown hair, and Scott has the amazing blue eyes." Kevin said motioning to each in of them.
"I know. I had them brought here," he said to Kevin,"Hello. My name is Avi and I'll be answering some of the questions I know you will have."
"I have a huge question. What is wrong with me? My teeth are longer than they should be and I can smell when someone is bleeding. Not to mention sunlight burns me!" Kirstie panicked. Scott stood up to comfort her by treating her like a child. He sat down in her chair and pull her in too of him and stuck her head into the crook of his neck.
"Kevin, could you please explain this to her?" Avi asked. Kevin nodded and stooped down to her level.
"Look. When I said you have been bitten, I meant you have been turned into a vampire by another vampire." Kevin said trying not to freak Kirstin out. The wheels started to turn in Kirstie's head. Why did that man look so familiar? Is that why she was I'm the hospital? Kirstie stood up and asked," could I please go home and grab something."
"You all will be going home to pack all of your clothes and bringing them here. You will be living here till further notice." Avi said.
"You can't force me to stay here!"Mitch screamed.
"Oh, but i know you will. Your precious boyfriend would never leave one of his best friends alone. And you would never leave him. Am I correct?" Avi replied.
"Who says Kirstie is going to stay. You can't make her do that. And how did you know Scott and I were seeing each other? " Mitch rambled angrily.
"She'll choose to stay because she has questions and she knows I have answers. Isn't that right Kirstie? And I could tell with how you two great each other." Avi sneered. Avi turned to Kirstie and she nodded them. Avi walked out, Kirstie  looked over at Mitch with a sorry look on her face. He shook his head at her and sighed angrily. Tears were streaming down her face at that point.
"Would you three like to stay her since it is now," Kevin asked glancing at his watch, "5:39 pm?"
Scott nodded and Mitch shrugged. Scott went to stand up to follow Kevin down the corridor with the rooms, but looked down at a sleeping Kirstin on his lap. He picked her up bridal style and nodded Mitch over. Mitch was at his side in an instant. Scott followed Kevin up the main stair case that had the red carpet. The stair case then split into two dark, mysterious corridors. Kevin led them down the one in the right and opened the third door on the left.
"Go ahead and put her in here. You and Mitch are right across the hall. I'm in the room beside you guys and Avi is in the same room as her." Kevin said as Scott walked into the room. Scott stopped abruptly and turned to face Kevin.
"What do you mean staying in the same room?" Scott whispered.
"Avi is moving rooms tomorrow, but for tonight they are sleeping in the same room but different beds." Kevin explained.
Scott nodded and started walking toward the bed. He set Kirstie down and kissed her on the forehead. He walked out and shut the door behind him. Avi then came out of the bathroom and walked over to Kirstie's bed.
"Sweet dreams, my love. See you in the morning." Avi said thinking Kirstin was asleep. Little did he know she heard every word. When he turned away and later down in his bed, she felt butterflies in her stomach and smiled a small smile. Kirstie then question herself, so I actually have feelings for him already? She then drifted off into an easy sleep.
