Alex: You always found it difficult to sleep on summer evenings that were too hot, and tonight was no different. You were surprised, however, at how peacefully Alex was sleeping next to you. You rolled over to look at him, taking in how the moonlight fell on his hair and the way his chest rose and fell with steady breaths. "Y/N?" Alex mumbled, causing you to jump. "Don't stare at people when they're sleeping. It's creepy." You smiled and hit him lightly with your pillow. "Shut up, Alex. You weren't even sleeping," you muttered, embarrassed that he had caught you. The both of you laid next to each other in comfortable silence, until Alex propped himself up to look at you. "Do you ever wonder what the meaning of life is? Really, I mean, why are we even on this Earth?" You looked into his brown eyes and giggled. "I'm way too sweaty to be having a philosophical conversation right now, Alex. Let's have this existential crisis tomorrow, okay?" You pushed against him playfully. "Agreed," Alex nodded, flinging the blanket off your warm bodies. You and Alex ended up settling into a comfortable position and talking about nonsensical things until you both drifted off to sleep.

Robert: "Robert?" You whispered, not sure if he was even awake. "Robert?" Still nothing. "There's a spider on your chest." Robert's eyes suddenly blinked open, and the next thing you know, he's on his feet and jumping on the bed. "Get it off! Get it off!" He was swiping at his chest and his frenzied movements ended up bouncing you off the bed. "Oh my god, Y/N! I'm sorry," he said, covering his mouth and reaching to help you off the floor. You rubbed the spot where your hip hit the ground, scrunching up your face. "If I had known you'd react like that, I would've just let the spider stay in bed with us," you joked, letting him know that you weren't mad at him at all. Robert smiled, drawing you close to him. "What would I do without you?" "Be molested by spiders every night, probably," you teased.

Zach: You had fallen asleep on Zach's shoulder after another one of his movie marathons. You two had always reserved Friday nights for each other, for as long as you could remember. "Hey, sleepyhead. I need my shoulder back," Zach whispered as he shifted, trying to reach the remote to turn the TV off. You felt him inch out from under you but you didn't want to move. "Can we just stay like this for a bit?" you asked, turning to look up at him. "Anything you want, love," Zach yawned. He slumped back onto the couch and let you snuggle into his side. "Do things like that actually happen in real life?" You wondered aloud, half-asleep and half-awake. "What things?" Zach asked as he played with your hair. "People finding their soul mates in different countries and across oceans. People fighting but eventually getting back together because they know that there's no one else for them. You know, happy endings." You replied thoughtfully, your mind replaying scenes from the movies you two had just watched. "Happy endings definitely do happen in real life," Zach replied in a strange tone. You turned to face him as he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. "Ew, Zach! You know what I mean," you exclaimed, laughing at how he always made everything you said into something sexual.

Austin: You sat up in bed, sure that you had heard something outside your window. "Austin. Austin!" You hissed, reaching across the bed to wake him up. Your fingers felt nothing but pillows, however, and you were filled with a sense of worry. You stopped moving when you heard it again - whispering and some scratching noises. You tiptoed out of bed, making your way to the open window. There was a slight breeze and the thin drapes were rippling silently. "So if I could visit the moon, well I'd dance on a moonbeam," Austin sang, scribbling down chords into a notebook every once in a while. "I'll make a wish on a star and wish I was at home once again...at home and right next to her." With this last sentence, he turned to look at you, a smile on his face. You blushed, embarrassed that he had caught you watching him sing from the window. "I didn't wake you up, did I?" He asked, his eyes roaming over your dishevelled hair and wrinkled pyjamas. You shrugged, stepping out and joining him on the roof. "Maybe. But I'm glad you did," you replied. Austin grinned and began singing again, looking straight into your eyes and making you feel more loved than ever.
