Austin:
"That's it I'm done with guys," you groaned throwing your head into your best friend's lap as you complained about your now ex-boyfriend.
"Okay,"
"Okay? That's all you're going to say, Ameezy? Just 'okay'?"
You and Austin had been friends literally forever with him being there for you through absolutely everything; playground spats, boyfriend drama-the lot and in return you had done the same thing for him making sure to attend every possible gig as his biggest fan. As a consequence of this there was no wonder as to why you had turned to him to help fix your broken heart when you caught your ex cheating on you with someone you had classed as a 'friend' up until two days ago at least.
"Well the way it usually works is I slate the guy and you end up back with him by this time next week so yeah just 'okay'," you watched in dismay as he easily lifted your head from his thighs before storming up the stairs leaving you to follow hot on his tail.
"I'm not getting back with him," you stated as he turned to look at you communicating his disbelief at your conclusion with an overly sarcastic eye roll.
"Fine then just watch because I bet you will. You'll go back to him and let your heart get broken again and mine will mirror yours just like normal-"
"What are you even talking about?" you interrupted, hands pulling at your hair in frustration as you stood in the hallway a single pace's distance from his tense frame.
"I'm in love with you okay? I'm fed-up of seeing you give your heart to guys that don't deserve it because it should be mine!"
That's all it took; one rushed confession and a single kiss to make you his.
Zach:
"He's checking you out," your friend stated as you both leant against the bar, propping yourselves up against the oak surface as you stared into your drink wondering how long you could prolong your sober but buzzed state.
"I don't care," you dismissed the stranger with a vague swipe of your hand. "I want to dance, do you want to dance?"
She shook her head, nowhere near your current carefree state, "I'll watch your drink."
Shooting her a quick thumbs up you headed to the centre of the floor, hips moving in time to the beat as you got lost in the song. Dance had never been your strong point but whether it be due to the fact that you would never see these people again or down to the alcohol in your system, you found yourself grinding shamelessly into the body pressed behind you as the next song filled the club.
"I love this song!" you yelled regardless of the fact that you knew not a single person around you.
"I know the band who sing it," the boy behind you declared making you face him.
"Liar,"
"I never lie," he grinned holding out his hand which you just stared at smugly. "Is that not the right thing to do in clubs?"
"I feel like we've been a bit too intimate for that," you teased leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Y/N."
"Zach," he replied, his breath catching in his throat slightly as you whispered your next question into his ear.
"So Zach," you drew out his name purposefully. "Your place or mine?"
Alex:
"I'm not even joking you two would make the perfect couple!" Robert was stating as you sat on the kitchen counter swinging your legs as he prepared dinner.
"I came over to spend the night with you Rob, not to be set up on a date," you told him with a frown as a knock sounded from the foyer.
"Just give him a chance yeah?" he begged as you nodded, automatically taking his spot at the stove as he kissed your forehead before going to let in your blind 'date'.
"I have an idea that I've been working on but I need your feedback-" a familiar voice joined the mix with you automatically knowing who it was.
"Is it sad?"
"Well kind of but-"
"And you wonder why I'm setting you up," Robert stated somewhat playfully before joining you in the kitchen with his latest guest. "Say hi to each other then," he pressured as you both did as told.
The thing was you had always had a slight crush on Alex but you'd never told anyone about it-or at least that you hadn't until the last time you and all of the boys had been together. You could vividly remember the party and your high level of alcohol intake as you sat on Alex's lap being asked who your crush was and blushing as you shyly looked up at his smug grin. Part of you believed that he had been too far gone to remember but another part knew there would be no such luck.
"I'm going to the bathroom," Rob stated winking at you both as he left.
Silence filled the room until Alex broke it with a nervous laugh causing you to look at him.
"You never asked who mine is," he told you causing you to frown. "Crush I mean."
"Well who's your crush, Alex?" you asked as he stepped closer so that his chest was pressed to yours.
"You," he whispered against your lips making you both laugh as he kissed you delicately.
A/N: sorry that it's not all the boys. I'm having a stressful week...
