My Masked Assassin

Chapter Five: One Down...

A normal person wouldn't have time to react quickly, but like I've already said multiple times...I'm not normal.

As Tom's hand comes crashing down onto the button, I karate kick it up into the air. With my leg still up I round house kick Tom in the jaw sending him flying far away and he crashes into the side of the building.

"Sorry!" I call to him. He lands hard and gets the wind knocked out of him. The detonator goes flying to the air.

"Sally send someone!" I call over my shoulder as I catch the detonator. The huge guy that came out comes charging at me.

I jump up and round house kick him as well, "Not so fast," I say as he staggers back, but quickly recovers and keeps coming. He jumps at me but I smoothly side under him and trip him.

By now the shaky lieutenant from before was behind me. "Take this, carefully, and go!" I yell at her, passing the device, she pales as she looks at it and froze.

"Goddamn it woman, move!" I scream at her as the guy pushes himself up. He charges towards the frozen cop so I dive for my gun. He sees my movement and kicks me in the stomach away from it. I slide across the floor and unluckily for him I end up where I left my knife.

I pick it up in an instant and fly towards him, I'm faster them him in reaching the stupidly frozen lieutenant who I hope to God loses her job after this. I cut him off from reaching her as I stood in between both of them, I hold the knife up high from him to see with the expertise of an expert fighter. I hold the blades hilt with its tip pointing back towards me, most looking on would think this was an amateur move but they do not know the full deadliness of this position.

The hulking bahemus snicker at me, "What are you gonna do little girl? Give me a paper cut?"

Before he could open his mouth to laugh I slice a clean cut across his face in the blink of an eye. He staggers back in shock at the lighten fast movement, he touches his face and is surprised to see blood, he looks back at me for a split second with fear in his eyes. I grin at him, bring it on!

He throws punch after punch after punch at me but I dodge them easily, cutting open a new patch of flesh with each movement. He's soon instantly covered in blood, he roars in absolute anger and uses all his force to come at me one more time. He tries to overshadow me with his huge weight but I use that to his disadvantage and flip him over, he goes soaring and lands heavily on the ground.

He was too out of breath to get up fast enough, I use the opportunity to run over to him, lift his head up by the collar and slam it down forcefully onto the concrete ground. He blacks out instantly.

One down...I thought to myself.

"Hey! What's going on here!?" another robber comes out with 3 more guys running behind him.
