Chapter 3

Chapter 3 - Life Starts Now?

So it was Sunday, it was time for training, Jamie headed to the court, he was nervous, and then he saw Lauren, she was practicing cheerleading and Jamie, well he had that same blank expression again...

"Pretty thing isn't she?"

"Oh... Umm yeah, who are you?"

"John Cooper! And you must be the new bird in the team"

"Yeah Jamie Scott"

"Son of the top scorer!"

"Haha,yeah..."

And then coach Dawson shouted

"Done with your little chat, boys? Now hit the court!"

"Showtime, man" said John

And they all trained, sprinting, push ups while Lauren watched

"He's the dude from that night, the one i almost ran over" said Lauren

"He's pretty hot! Give him a try?"

"Yeah, no"

And then the coach shouted again "alright break time! 10 minutes!"

And then Jamie walked over to Lauren and felt nervous for no reason

"Umm hey, Lauren right?"

"Hi! Yep it's Lauren and you're Jamie, sorry about the other night, i almost ran you over.."

"Haha, it's no biggie, so i guess i'll be seeing you pretty often from now on.."

"Yeah, i mean i'm new to Tree Hill and you're new to Ravens"

"Yeah!"

"Break time's over!"

"Well i guess i gotta go, it was nice talking to you"

And then Lauren smiled and Jamie went back to training

After an hour Jamie was done, so he left the court and saw Lucas and Nathan waiting

"Hey dad !"

"Hey!"

"Uncle Luke!"

"Yo kiddo!"

"You guys here to pick me up"

"Yup" said Luke and Nathan

"Then lets go!"

They all went home and Jamie told everyone about the day, he was happy, and so was everyone, and a week later he was about to put on the jersey, step out there at the court, score points and win the game?
