It is 07:45 a.m and I am still lying on my bed. It is a windy morning and the glasses of my window are foggy. The blanket on my bed are damp, and my room looks dark. It appears like a lazy day.

"A cop is standing at the door" mom enters the room as she whispers.

"What?" I leap up and sat still listening to what she meant.

"A cop, " she reiterates.
"He wants to talk to you, " she holds her voice low.

I slipped out of my bed, and glide the curtains to view him from the first floor.

"Gosh, he's facing up" I move to one side of the window as soon as I notice his glance at me.

"What is it, and why is he here" mom asks me in a confused voice.

"How am I suppose to know."  I stretched as I mouthed.

"I am going down to open the door" mom said as she climbed down the steps.

'Ting- Tong'

The doorbell rang again and again, as my blood ran cold. The problem was that I didn't even know what I had caused.
I walked to and fore in my bedroom just waiting for my call.

"Avianna, hey Avianna" mom called from downstairs.

"Coming" I screamed and started walking down the stairs in a relaxed manner.

"Mr Richard wants to talk to you" mom smiled at me while resting her hands along my shoulders.

I fronted up at her once and shifter my glance toward Mr Richard. He was a tall man, and looking upward into his eyes brought me goosebumps.

"So you are?" He inclined towards me as he spoke.
Of course, he knew my name otherwise why would he be here interrogating me.

"By the was I am Avianna. Avianna Hope." I gave him a sumg face as I responded.

"... and how old are you Avianna." He wondered again.

"I am a teenager, a huh! 16 years old. I am about start my first year of highschool, and I'm not exited about it.
Because school sucks!" I confessed way too much then I was called for.

I went past Mr Richard and I jumped up on the sofa and sat decently.

"Huh, " he smirked and looked up at my mother's face while he was yet on his leaning portion.

He stood straight as he fared back to me and took the seat, which was right in front if I.

"I didn't mean to wake you up, " he articulated.

" well, then I guess you should talk fast, because I'm still in my pajamas" I was a little bit rude thus time.
Though I didn't want to at this point. But he was simply wasting my time.

"Do you know Julian Wilder" he looked a slight concern.

"He hasn't returned home last night" he added.

"We were at a party last night" I replied as I looked upwards at my mother.
My mother looked back at me with a sterning face.
I had sneaked out of my bedroom to attend that party. So, mom had no idea of it, and I was too hesitant to speak about it in front of her.

"What, you were at a party" she interlude the conversation with her counter question.

"Was he your boyfriend, by any chance" Mr Richard Nixon called for while shifting his glare at my mother for once.

"Of course he is her boyfriend" she came to the conclusion while trying to protect me.

"But, his not returning home has nothing to do with my daughter" she stood up for me this time.

"Okay mam" Richard exclaimed.

His criping waky-tawkey zipped once. And he stood up to serve.

"Lauren is missing too, a 16 year old from the same school." A voice from the other side reacted.

"Okay I'm coming" Richard replied as he plugged back the phone in his pocket and stood up.

"Now, do you see that!" my mother was in the rage and she moved aside showing him the doorway to the exit.

"One last question Ma'am" he was alerted for more details this time.

"Where is your son, Hmm.. Astrio" he was suspicious.

"He is not at home, he had left early today"she responded confidently.
