I was a little paranoid with the interrogative sentence that Mr Richard had left us with.
Mom shut the door tight and waited for the car to pull up stakes.
She looked at me with a disbelieving look as to what he had just enunciated.I hastened up to my room and noticed my brother's bed.
It was practically empty.Astrio and me, we both partake in the same bedroom, but not the same bed.
Astrio's bed is occupying the right hand side of the room, right beside the cupboard, while mine is right at the corner of the room next to a window. My elder brother Astrio had been a highschool student from last year. He is a baseball player and he presented the school baseball tournament last summer.
"Where could he be?" I guessed.
It was Saturday, that means no school.
"Possibly, he's been with his practice this morning" I based up myself.
"Avianna" mom called from downstairs.
"Yes. Mom, " I responded as my voice shivered.
"Dress up quickly, we are going out for shopping" mom cried to lighten up the mood.
"Yes.. mom" I reacted as I walked up to my closet to pick up my favorite dress.
"Pink" I visualised the peachy pink dress that I could wear today.
I chose a hot bath and put on my clothes and got ready for the day.
The pearl earrings, that I wear occasionally was lying exactly on my vanity. I picked it up and wore it.
It was a present for my upcoming 16th birthday.Mom drove up to the near shopping mall.
"Grab whatever you like, honey" mom screamed as she worked towards the groceries block.
I walked passed every row, to see my best fit.
"Sandra" isn't that sandra" I tried figuring out by her walk.
She faced at me once and hastily vanished from that area.
"Hey, what did you choose" mom appeared with a bulky shopping bag.
"It's going to be your first day at high school. Pick something cool" she added
"Humm..what about this floral dress.", "Do you like it?" I asked for her opinion.
"Yeah, yeah, its good" she gave her outlook.
"Let's go now" she suggested while grabbing the dress and taking it to the billing counter.
"Com'on" mom said while walking out of the store, before I could even reach the billing counter.
I followed her back outside. She was standing by the car talking with somebody on the cell phone. She seemed to be very stressed out.
"Who is it?" I took as soon as I reached into the car.
"The cops" she responded and entered the car.
"Go inside, fast, " she yelled.
I opened the back doorway and entered the car.
She didn't speak much on out way back home. I appeared at her face ones out twice through the rear mirror. She looked exasperated. We rushed home. Mom parked the car by the yard.
A whole bunch of cops wgere there.
The investigators, the reporters the media everyone was waiting for us.
Even the neighbors surrounded our house every bit if some kind of act was going on."Ma'am.. ma'am" a reporter ran towards the car, as soon as he noticed my mother running out of the car.
"I can't talk right now" she respondwd while pulling me out of the cars and dragging me towards the house.
She drew out the keys from her jacket and tried to open the door.
"Have me do it" I whispered.
"Wait, " she sighed me to keep it down.
She slammed open the door and pulled me indoors.
She shit the door while just allowing the cops to enter.
"What the hell is happening?" she exaggerated as she spoke.
"Ma'am its about your son, he is missing" a lady among the three cops responded while walking her way to the forepart.
"What" mom was startled by what she had just announced.
