It all started when we were 14, third years in junior high.
"Look, Kacchan! It's a Villain!" Izuku excitedly pointed off to the side as smoke rose from a nearby train track.
"Where?" The blonde boy scowled, looking around.
"Over there, see?" Izuku pulled his best friend so he was looking in the same direction. Watching a few more explosions go off, Katsuki smirked.
"Let's go, Izu-kun!"
For every villain we saw, we knew there would be a hero.
"Who's fighting?" The green haired boy asked, panting in between the words as he slowed his pace to a stop. Katsuki, meanwhile, was still in perfect shape and pushing through the crowd.
"Someone stole someone else's purse, got cornered and activated their Quirk..." "A Quirk like that..." Mutters and whispers were exchanged around them but the two teenagers didn't acknowledge them.
"Izu-kun, let's get a bit closer!" Katsuki cheered, grabbing onto his nervous partner's arm and dragging him through the maze of people with him.
"O-Okay! Don't pull me, Kacchan!" Izuku protested. But he was happy - happy as could be.
So, to see how it all added up, we went to each and every fight.
"Look, look, Kacchan! It's Kamui Wood!" Izuku's eyes lit up as he jabbed his finger towards the bridge.
"Big deal. All I care about is how he deals with the purse-snatcher," Katsuki shrugged, eyes trained to the fight, and his friend frowned.
"But--"
"CANYON CANON!"
"Who the hell is that?!" Katsuki shouted, and Izuku took out his notebook. His companion quickly averted his attention to Izuku and groped around his pocket before taking out a pen and handing it to him.
Izuku muttered something along the lines of a 'thanks' and began scribbling things down. Katsuki glanced at the lined sheets of paper, then back at the shrinking blonde woman. Then he scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Heroes are cheap these days." He didn't even need to look over his shoulder to check if his friend agreed with him.
Katsuki knew Izuku did.
We took notes on how the cycle went, round and around, trying to find a way to enter the cycle ourselves.
"Don't forget about the possibility of how popular she'll be," Katsuki reminded Izuku, who nodded and continued scribbling in his notebook.
A cherry blossom petal fell onto Katsuki's nose and he quickly brought his elbow to his face before he sneezed, groaning a disgusted 'ugh' afterwards. "Sorry."
"Gesundheit," Izuku smiled at the taller blonde who rolled his eyes again, softly hitting his companion's head with his knuckles. Izuku faked pain before chuckling, seeing Katsuki's panicked expression, then showed him the sheet full of little pieces of analysis. "This is what I could get. She isn't what we want to be at all."
"You two wanna be heroes?" A bystander asked, nearly out of the blue. The boys turned to the strange star-headed man, seeing that they were the only people he could possibly be referring to. "I believe in you two! You can do it!"
Katsuki simply nodded with a little grunt/hum and Izuku beamed, shouting out 'thanks!'
Occasionally, there'd be someone who encouraged us. It wasn't our mothers, nor our fathers, not any member of our families.
These people had no idea we were Quirkless. If the did know, they probably wouldn't have said anything.
But we were happy.
"We want to go to Yuuei!" The two shouted in unison, and the whole class laughed.
"As if..."
"Idiots!"
"ALL OF YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!" Katsuki demanded, slamming his foot onto his desk, glaring daggers at everyone.
"That's right! We'll be better than all of you!" Izuku declared, clenching his fists and grinning. He and Katsuki smirked, determined.
"Good luck, losers~!"
"We'll show you!"
It was one day we were walking home, beaten and bruised that we decided
WE'D MAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT

Okay, okay. I'd first like to apologize; this chapter is almost identical to the first, in terms of the quotes included. It's also a bit awkward.
I also apologize for the severe lack of updates and how lame this one is compared to some expectations I have to meet.
So if you guys could give me some constructive feedback that would be much appreciated; I'll try to make the next chapter have fully fleshed out text and longer than this one.
Thank you for your support.
