Okay, so this next scenario is going to be an elementary AU.
( It's almost the end of the school year, but roll with it )
Anyways, so Lindsey and Alfred are teachers at an elementary school (they have one of those secret teacher x teacher relationships; but it's obvious), and the rest of the states are smol kids (like kindergarten / first grade, maybe second?).
It starts off as a normal day, and it's business as usual. Then it's recess. Everyone's at the playground / field, playing. But some (or maybe all of them, idk) of the kids decide that school is too good for them and they wander off, unbeknownst to them that ditching school isn't cool (heh)...
Then that leads Alfred and Lindsey (and the other kids who decided to be good cinnamon rolls) to find them.
