CHAPTER THREE

Maggie

So the next day at school was almost normal. Until the last five minutes of school.

While walking down the hall towards my car I heard foot steps behind me. And when I looked back I saw Blake chasing after me. lets just say I wasn't the most surprised person who saw him!

While he was running towards me he was stopped by Jean Nicholson. The queen of sluts, The CEO of "Whores R US". I wasn't shocked that Blake didn't lose his popularity. If anyone could do it, he could!

Taking advantage of the prime opportunity I picked up my speed and got to my car. I hurried up and raced out of the parking lot and left them in my dust.

When I got home I saw my dad in the kitchen starting on diner. he always starts early so it will be ready when my mom comes back comes back from the hospital from work.of course my dad doesn't mind because he works from home any way since he's a writer.

After saying hi I go up to my room to start my homework. I never have that much homework because I do most of it in my free period at school. so I do the couple of pages I had left to read and when I finished I closed the book and head downstairs to help dad for with cooking.

When my mom comes home we all sit down to eat. when I tell them about Blake they don't know if their happy or not. on one side theirs finally a boy that's interested in me. But on the other side they know that I don't want him to be interested. I've really not had anyone ever interested in me before because I'm really nothing special brown hair and brown eyes regular figure. I am quite proud of how I've blended in this year. I'm not popular and I know I'm a nerd but I'm not the kid that is stuffed in the lockers half the day, and on the floor the other half.

After I see Maggie speed off I go home myself. And of course no one's home as usual. ever since my mom died two years ago my dad basically lives at the office and I raise myself.

I do my homework and make a turkey sandwich. after that's done I go to the game room and turn on my XBOX 1 heir might only be one source of income but that source did more than suffice.
