Loose ends

[Authors note: I have made up characters for this story as well as characters from fairy tail]

The wind blew fiercely against the wondering boy as the forest came to an end. The trees seemed distant now as there was flat plains. Tyler came to a stop, feeling a wave of magic. About 10 feet in front of him stood a manly figure.
"Tyler Sandres, the corrupt wizard." The voice called.
"Juan Franches, captain of the councils army." Tyler replied.
Jaun had an army of about 50 men, all straight from the magic council army. They stood behind him, waiting to follow orders. "You know why I'm here Tyler." Jaun said with a low smirk.
"Look Jaun, I don't want to kill anyone else, I've been lying low on purpose." The teenager replies.
"My job is catch criminals on the list of wanted people, and you're still on their my friend" Jaun explained.
Tyler just signed and looked away. "I really don't want to fight, please Jaun..." Tyler pleaded. But, Jaun had already thrown off his cloak, preparing himself.
Behind Jaun, Tyler could hear the army talking. "Is that him...?" Someone asked. "Yeah, apparently he killed over one thousand people..." Tyler pulled a face of disgust. He never killed more than 50 people and it wasn't even his fault.
He hated his reputation. He had always wanted to join a guild as a child and like most children, he looked up to Fairy Tail, the best guild in Fiore. He couldn't stop watching the Grand Magic Games. Natsu Dragneel, always making amazing comebacks. Gray Fullbuster, always keeping his cool. Erza Scarlet and Lucy Heartfillia, both amazing wizards. There are many other wizards he loved in Fairy Tail like Gajeel and Laxus, but he had to restrain himself. He took heavy inspiration from them. Their determination, their friendship, how he wished for that.
But at this moment, he was about to fight a captain from the magic council army.

The army stood fiercely behind Jaun, and Jaun drew a green magic circle. Tyler clenched his hand into a fist and prepared himself, but before he knew it, two giant plants pummelled him back. He stumbled back with a groan, but regained his footing. "What is that, plant magic?" Tyler asked.
"Something like that" Jaun chuckled.
Tyler drew his own magic circle. He wanted to end this quickly. A large amount of magic energy could be felt as Tyler made a threatening stance. "Corrupted Nova!" He yelled, directing a large energy beam right at Jaun. Jaun barely dodged, but it wiped out half his men. "Ah crap, I didn't kill anyone did I?" Tyler said, wiping his mouth. Jaun was taken by surprise. He didn't realise how much power could be presented. Nevertheless, he was captain for a reason, and he had a job to fulfil.
