•Chapter 2•

Y/N P.O.V.

Touka was behind the counter while I was twirling in a stool. I served everyone that's in the café already so we both were just watching the news with nothing to do.

The bell rang alerting me that somebody entered the tiny shop "Welcome to Ante-". I stopped mid sentence blushing as I saw the most breathtaking innocent looking, raven haired guy come in with his friend. 'Hmph, why was I so descriptive?' I deadpanned as I thought to myself for a short moment.

I shook my head coming back to my senses "Welcome to Anteiku." I greeted with a smile. They went and sat down near the window, my eyes still trained on that boy.

"Hey Y/n-chan whats up with the googly eyes towards them?"Touka asked curiously, which made me get embarrassed. "Why are you so annoying, it's as if you're my younger sister always asking questions and being annoying." I said in a defensive tone, not wanting her to know that I have an attraction towards one of them.

Honestly, Touka-chan really is like my little sister if you think about it, with our age and grade difference, I'm nineteen and she is seventeen. It would make sense to be adopted sisters I'd never be her blood she's simply to idiotic to be related to such as me, I snickered at how I was flaunting my superiority, which started questioning looks.

And if I were in college I would be in my second year of it. I remember when Maneger sent me to go to school, I only lasted two days. It would've been nice to go but it just wasn't for me. I just couldn't handle the pressure of having to fit in for that long, and having to go through it alone!!! I think not. Touka is teaching me how to do basic things now though, which is good... I guess.

I went to go serve the duo I've been eye-balling the whole duration of time they were here, "Hello welcome to Anteiku, what can I get for you both?"I said with a smile.

"Hi what's your name, I was thinking I might as well ask, since my friend here has had his eyes glued to you since we walked in here!" He yelled.

His sudden out burst made his charming friend wide eyed. "Hide, you baka, you can't just say thing like that!" His friend said blushing heavily while looking away.

I had a light blush creeping onto my face, "I don't mind my name is L/n Y/n nineteen years of age, It's nice meeting you um..." I trailed on hinting that I'd like to get their names as well.

"Nagichika Hideyoshi, but you can call me Hide beautiful" Hide said with a little wink and I looked at his friend to avoid eye-contact, "I'm Kaneki Ken."he said. "It was nice meeting you two, but I should get back to my job and get your order." I said with a small smile enjoying the moment, unaware that it would be ruined soon.

KANEKI'S P.O.V.

Hide and I entered the café named 'Anteiku' to hang out with one another for a bit. The moment we entered my eyes were stuck on the girl I have seen here before but not to many times, and I know she is what Hide would categorize her with the many girls I have no chance with, as we were seating ourselves my eyes did not move from her. She was a sight for sore eyes, she had the prettiest voice, well from what I could hear it was so soft.

She came up to us, she was about to ask something but was interrupted by Hide, "Hi what's your name, I was thinking I might as well ask, since my friend here has had his eyes glued to you since we walked in here!" my eyes widened when I realized what he said "Hide, you baka, you can't just say things like that!" I said blushing madly.

I noticed she was blushing a little due to the weird outburst.

"I don't mind my name is L/n Y/n nineteen years of age, It's nice meeting you um..."she trailed on for us to introduce ourselves, "Nagichika Hideyoshi, but you can call me Hide beautiful" Hide said with a little wink, I looked to the side due to how embarrassed and nervous I was in the moment "I'm Kaneki Ken." I said quickly. "It was nice meeting you two, but I should get back to my job and get your order." Y/n said with a small smile. We ordered and I look back to Hide, who was giving me a look.

"What?" I asked "She is way out of your league dude..." crossing his arms looking away and giving me a side eye, "...What I am saying is that you've lost your mind." Hide stated I hang my head low as I heard the bell chime.

"Welcome to Anteiku." Y/n said with a emotionless voice. Then I saw her, "Hide, that's her."
