"Ugh! I can't get it!"
"Shh Natalie, just try and focus" once I had woken up, Kim promised to teach me how to channeled my magic. right now I'm trying to use my power. telekinesis. I have other powers she just hasn't figured out what they are yet. before I was born my mother had used a protection spell, so I wouldn't be harmed by any Dark magic that was used against me. Kim's magic was white, but she still had difficulty finding this power in me.
I sighed, lifting my right hand to make the plastic bottle of water levitate. squinting my eyes in concentration, I smiled as the bottle rose off of the table.
"Ugh! damn it!" I yelled in frustration as the bottle dropped back on the table.
"something's blocking your concentration Nat" Kim stated. I sighed.
"nothing's blocking my concentration" I grumbled in frustration.
"have you talked to your dad yet?" she asked. anger sparked inside me. Kim jumped gasping as the water bottle went flying and hit the door. my eyes widened in realization that I did it.
"I'll take that as a no" Kim said in a surprised tone. I sighed.
"I have to talk to him don't I?" I asked, turning to face her. she gave me a weak smile, nodding.

I sat on Louis' couch waiting for him to come back with my Dad. looking over my shoulder I heard the front door open, my eyes landing on my fathers. he smiled at me. I returned with a glare. he walked by me sitting on the couch across from mine.
"I'll just be in my room" Louis said. I nodded smiling at him. he walked off not long after I heard a door shut.
"Why didn't you ever come back for me?" my voice was light, cracking slightly towards the end as I felt a lump begin to build in my throat.
"I wanted to Natalie, believe me Love, I did. I just had to make sure that you were being protected. I-I couldn't do that if I was with you, Gabriel was after me" his voice was shaky.
"that's why I had Louis take you away. he was a friend of your mothers" he mumbled.
"she cared for him like a son. I treated him the same once your mother told me of who she was and what she knew" Dad said as he got up. he pulled me to stand up, wrapping his arms tightly around my body.
"I missed you so much" he whispered. I sighed
'as much as I hated to admit it. I loved my father too much. I missed him and to be in his warm, strong arms again was amazing'
"I missed you too Dad" I whispered my voice sounding broken.
"I promise I'll never leave you again Natalie" he whispered kissing head and forehead repeatedly. I smiled.
"you better keep that promise" I giggled lightly. he chuckled, lifting his right hand. my smile widened when I saw his pinky in the air, hooking my pinky with his he chuckled as my small, tiny pinky wrapped around his thick one.
"I pinky promise Natalie" he whispered kissing my forehead.
