"Princess... Boys" I heard a familiar voice call out waking me from my slumber. With my eyes still closed, I slowly shifted before slowly opening up my eyes to realize I was in my room in my bed. I sat up rubbing my eyes.

I looked over at the time on my clock as it sat on the stand next to my bed. It read 3:47 am. I glanced up at my Frosted window as snow fell and the wind slightly blew. I looked up at the calendar hanging on the wall that the side of my bed was against. It was officially December 21st , Four days before Christmas, I made a mental note to myself to mark an X on December 20th like the many other days before on the calendar when the sunrise. I had been counting down the days until Christmas since The First of December.

"Kids" The voice called out again. I gasped as My eyes Immediately widen when I caught on to the voice.

I pushed my Tweety Bird Covers back revealing my Small feet and Pink flowery pajamas I had on and hopped out of the bed, zooming to the living room. My dad stood there with the front door open . I looked down at his hands to see two big red full bags in the both of them.

My vision was a bit cloudy and Blurry.

A wide smile grew upon my face as my mouth flew open gasping I ran over and ambushed my father into a hug. I closed my eyes inhaling his cologne causing me to automatically relax.

I let go and looked up at my dads blissful face. I tilted my head to the side puzzled to why The background and outline of him was still a bit Blurry.

"Surprise" His deep voice spoke.

He kneeled down to my size the smile never leaving his face.

I was mesmerized by the sight of him but I couldn't figure out why, I felt as if my Mysterious yearning heart was finally filled. I was overjoyed.

I slowly reached my hands up to his face touching his scruffy beard to see was this all real. I didn't know why I needed some type of confirmation. It was like I wasn't controlling my emotions as if someone else was and I was just sitting back watching.

I still couldn't put my finger on why I had this feeling.

I watched as his Eyes gazed at me. He had a glow in his eyes.

"I know you miss me Babygirl... I miss you too, it's been a long time since we seen each other"

I frowned as my hands stopped roaming his beard and stayed in place.

"What do you mean Daddy?" I asked slightly giggling at his silliness. "I just seen you earlier before you went to work" I spoke a bit Confused.

He just simply smiled as he shook his head.

"Daddy...?" I asked softly as we stared at each other.

"Yes sweetheart?" He asked. An echo followed behind his voice every time he spoke.

"Why are you dressed like that?" I asked. I glanced down at his Long sleeve baby blue sweater, his matching baby blue Dress pants and his baby blue Oxfords. Wasn't his usual work attire.

"You didn't leave the house like that" I shook my head as I continued to stare down at his outfit.

He chuckled as he pushed my hair back from in front of my face. I looked up and he begin to Brush his thumb across my cheek softly.

We stared at each other for a few moments of silence as I continued to wonder why my heart ached.

"Now wake up baby girl " He spoke , his echoing voice went through my ears soothingly .
