Tino and Berwald followed the river all the way up into the woods where it became more rapid. The tall Swede kept the prince on his right side so he wouldn't be near the water as the walked Hana onwards. The trees broke up and woodland cleared into a mountain side. The small Fins eyes widened at the beautiful crystal sight. Water spilled over the stones and aloud a soft haze of water sparkle the moss and flowers below. The young male walked closer to the falling water. He had never seen a waterfall other then in pictures. His heart flustered as the colours and contrast lit up his eyes.
"Berwald!" He screeched excitedly. "Look at that it is Beautiful!" He hollered. "Have you ever seen something so pretty Berwald.
Berwald looked at the water fall then at the adorable Finnish prince. His face grew red and he became embarrassed at what he wanted to say. His face looked angry and it startled Tino.
"I-I'm sorry!" He said confused.
Berwald realized he was scaring the poor fragile flower and he chocked down his embarrassment.
"N-no... Is not you." He sighed.
Tino relaxed and smiled. "What was it then?"
"S'mthing..... embarrassing...."
"Oooooh." The boy smiled. "Were you thinking of a pretty girl?"
Berwald's face lit again and he looked away.
"Not a girl." He mumbled.
"Now I'm curious what you think is so pretty." Tino laughed. "But you don't have to tell me Ber, I'll use my imagination!"
The tall swede sighed a bit relieved that the prince let it go so easily. He couldn't even imagine how the boy would feel if he said it was him that was prettier then the water fall. Berwald would die of embarrassment. Berwald shook his head and walked up to the water fall. He reached into his jacket pulling out a small wooden cup. He dipped it into the falling water and then pulled it out handing over to the prince.
"Drink?" Berwald asked.
Tino took the water and smiled. "Thank you!"
He took at sip and then his eyes sparkled.
"It's so good!" He said excitedly. "It's so pure and clean!"
"Mhm, it's the water I p't in your tea." He admitted.
"My tea?! Oh!! That must be why it's always so refreshing and wakes me up!! Berwald..... Are you a healer?" The little prince questioned.
"Mhm, I'm a witch." Berwald said seriously.
"A witch?! Don't you mean a warlock?!" Tino said a bit confused.
"I'm a lady."
Berwald was always so serious that the Finnish prince didn't know whether or not to believe him. But with the manly jawline, curveless figure and lack of breasts, he thought the swede must be joking.
"The prettiest lady." Tino played.
Berwald curtsied and the Fin laughed at the silly yet serious man. Berwald slowly lowered himself into the grass sitting by the river. Tino sat beside him and began to pick the flowers.
"Y' gonna m'ke me a pretty crown." Berwald asked.
"Yes, then you'll be the prettiest princess in all of Finland." Tino paused. "Well, the only princess." He paused again. "That makes you my sister!"
Berwald let out a small "Hm." As an attempt of laughter.
Hana ran over from lapping up the river water and slobbered all over Berwald. Yet he didn't mind he only pet the puppy as if nothing was happening. He watched carefully as the small prince weaved the flowers together. He was a bit confused on how the prince knew how to do such A thing when he never went outside but he didn't question it. The Fin held up a small reef and reached out for Hana. He wrapped the flowers around the puppy's neck tying it off. The puppy shook it's head side to side trying to see the necklace but failed. She kept flailing trying to see what was there.
Suddenly the sun was blocked out and it became a bit darker. The two looked up to see dark cloud drifting threw the sky. Berwald stood up and reached out a hand.
"Might rain." He warned.
"But, Ber... We just got out here." The prince said heart broken.
Berwald felt his heart beat for the small prince. But then he let a ghost of a smile reach his lips.
"If y' get sick. We can't go t' the wishin' well." He said seriously.
Tino's curious eyes lifted curiously and he stood up.
"A wishing well?" He said with sparkling eyes.
Berwald blushed and looked away. "Ya." Was all he could muster up.
"Then let's hurry before it rains!" Tino said excitedly.
Berwald nodded and the two headed back up the river to the castle.
