We followed the strange warrior down the well travel road . i couldnt stop thinking about the fighting style that he had used. Never once drawing his blade , or any form of weopan against his attackers. However something seemed off . His voice was light and he hid in his face from everyone who went to look upon it .Maybe it was just that the peolpe here were of different ways to us. none the less i had to know what he was hiding. .

nudging Thaion quitely beside me i lent down toward s him. " what do you think of this man ?. can you tell much about him , his intentions ?. should we trust him.... " it was then that Thaion cut off the endless stream of questions that seemed to pour from my mouth . i watched as he slowly exhailed and turned his face to me. " No i dont know anything about him , i have no opinion other thhen he can be useful if we can persuade him to accompany us. He has no intentions towards us ,and it is my guess that he just wishes to return home . as for trust . that is for time to tell. Now if you dont mind i would very much like it if you shut your fat mouth and give me some time to think , or else i will leave you to find your own way here. " I could tell by the tone of his voice that he was annoyed . I stepped away from him, quickening my pace slightly , thinking to catch up with the strange warrior ahead.

I am starting to regret saying they could accompany me to the next village . my hair itched under my hood and the cloth i wore to bind my chest felt painfully restricting . i dont know what i was thinking. oh well it was not long now untill we would reach the village and i could finally be rid of my unwanted company.

It was dusk as our small group entered the village . People ranging from very young to old peered out there windows to look at us, and a few very brave dared to venture into the street for a better look , unsure of what our purpose in their small village would be. as we approached the largest dwelling i turned back to the two strange men. " you two wait here. i need to talk to the village elder alone. after this we may part ways to do what ever we have set for ourselves to accomplish. " i said looking straight at them. their only reaction and nod.

after a few seconds of silence i turned and  swept the covering from the door, and entered the hut of the old man . and cast aside the hood from my face to better identify myself to him and the others in his company. i walked forward looking around at the small gathering of men and woman seated around the central hearth of the hut. spying the old man i briskly walked towards him and dropping to one knee. " my lord , it was a success. " i said as i looked up to his face his eyes gleaming in the firelight. Pulling me to my feet he surprised me by embracing me and whispering " you have done well child. you shall hide no more for you are one of us. " with that he stepped back smiling at me .

it was then i felt a nagging sensation at the back of my mind almost as if i had forgotten something . the smile dropped from my face and a small groan escaped my lips. " My lord. i must inform you that i have two men in my company , who do not appear to be from this place . shall i bring them in ?."

" As formal as ever my girl. yes , bring them in so we can determine there reason for coming here. " he chuckled as he mentioned to the flap covering the door. Turning around i drew the hood up over my head and walked to the door. wanting to get this over and done with quickly so i could retire and get a much anticipated respite from the disguise i had donned for the journey.

Drawing back the flap i poked my head out and looked around for the two strangers.  I swore quietly under my breath as nothing but empty space lay before me.

Rolling my eyes and raising my hood to cover myself  and i started forward. Knowing I needed to find them before the sun set.
