Chapter Twenty Seven

Dylan POV

For the first time after these two months, today is my day, I'm so happy. Met with Karen, my first girlfriend, and be my girlfriend again. I knew, I've made promise that I won't falling in love with everyone else, I'll wait for Jane. But I think, what I did its useless, stupid, so i decided to break my promise. Beside, there's Karen now beside me. She knows me well.

We arrived at my and Jane's favorite ice cream shop.

"This is your favorite ice cream shop?" Karen asked.

I nodded, "Yeah. And Jane's."

"I see." she get out from car and go inside the shop.

Is she mad? Too many things be me and Jane's favorite. I ran after her. And she is ordering ice cream right now.

She came to me, hugged me, then kissed my cheeks.

"What's wrong with your face?" she asked while go to one of seat and sit.

"What? What's wrong with my--"

She laughed, "I'm not jealous, Dylan. And I'm not mad at you. Because you and Jane have so many things that become yours favorite."

I sat in front of her."Really?"

"Yeah. Beside, you have me now. We will have many favorite things too. Right?"

"Yeah. Of course." I kissed her lips.

"I have to pee.." she said then stood up and go to toilet.

I continued eat the ice cream. Karen is take it too long in the bathroom, until the ice cream melted and the bowl is empty now. I wondering what is she do in there? I walk to Renee the shop keeper and order another bowl of ice cream.

"One bowl chocolate frenzy."

She smiled, "Okay young man."

I smiled to her, going to turn back to my seat.

" Dylan!"

Someone called my name.
It must be Karen. Why is she calling my name so loud?

I smiled, turn around, "Why you have to scream my name, Karen---" and I saw her, standing right there with her beautiful smile. "Jane?"

"HI. You're in here."

"Yeah, I am. What about you-you here too."

"Yes, I texted you that I'd like to meet and talk about something."

Shit. Why is she here?! Why?! She will find out I'm with Karen!!

Jane comes to me then we go to my seat, and Karen.

"You've waited too long?" she asked after saw an empty bowl on front of me.

"Um--no?"

She laughed, "Whats wrong with you? Don't happy to see me?"

"Yeah I'm happy. Sure I am."

She frowned at me. And tie her hair.
Damn! She is beautiful! I almost can't take control to kiss her neck.

"What are you going to talk to me?" I asked.

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry-for what?"

"You haven't read my message?"

"Um. No. My phone is died."

"So how do you know that I'll come here?"

I put my shoulder up. "Feeling-I guess? I don't know."

She smiled. Oh her smile. Is a drug to me. Oh Jane. Why you come when it's too late. Fuck Dylan! It's you who did this all. Get back together with Karen? Is that a big mistake?

" I've knew everything. About Eric, you're right he doesn't changed at all, he is asshole. I don't even know why I'm in loved with him. And about the baby, I've knew that it wasn't yours or anyone."

"What? Do you mean, it's not Eric's too?"

"No. She's not even pregnant. It's just a pillow."

"What? She told me, that Eric is the one who raped her that night."

"She lied. They lied."

"T-they? Who else?"

"Eric and Maddy, they work together to separate us. Maddy is in love with you, and Eric he's jealous of you. Because, he thought that I never love him, so they made this plan. And-we're not talking for two months."

"Fuck that bitch!!! I've knew it!"

"So, I'd like to apologize. And.. I thought we can start all over again. I miss you."

Fuck Jane! Fuck! Fuck! It's too late now.

"Jane???!" Karen said after she come back from toilet.

"Karen??? Wha-what are you doing here?"

"I'm with Dylan." she answered with her smile.

Jane looks at me with "what's wrong? What is fucking going on here?" eyes.

Oh crap! I'm die!! I'm die! I'm die!!

"Am I disturb you?" she asked to Karen.

"No." Karen answered then sit next to me, "You didn't disturb at all. Right, babe?"

Shit!! She called me babe in front of her. I'm die! I'm die! Let me go home!!!

"Babe??? What do you mean? Are you-"

"Yes! We're getting back together."

Damn!! It's like a punch right into my face! I'm totally die.

Jane doesn't say anything, she only looks at me. "Superb. Congratulations! I'm happy for you guys. Well, I have to go now. There's something I have to do." she stood up and ready to go.

"Jane, wait." I said and grabbed her hand.

"I have geographic class, Dylan. I have to go." she said. Her eyes is blunt, she is going to cry.

"No. Please." I insist her in low voice.

"I'll see you later." then she left.

I saw her ran into her car and that white car went away from my sight.

"Babe. Your order is here." Karen said.

"I can't. I'll take you home, now." then I went to my car.

I wait for Karen in car, and she came after 15 minutes.

"What's wrong?" she asked. "Is it about Jane?"

"Please. I can't talk about that."

"You scared, you've hurted her."

"No. Karen please. I can't talk about that."

She smirked, "I can't believe this."

"I'll take you home."

"No." she said. "Are you in love with her?"

"What? I can't talk abo-"

"Answer me!!!" she smirked, "Yes you are. Then why you asked me to back together? Because she never look at you?"

"It's not like that."

"It's hurted me, Dylan. I love you so much, I can't be with someone else except you. And you did this to me? You're totally asshole."

"I'm sorry, Karen."

She go out from my car and grabbed a taxi then left.

My life is so fucked off.
