Friday of the next week

"Mommy can we go stay with Uncle King instead ?" Briyah whined , "y'all should've told me that sooner , I inly booked one ticket ... How about this y'all can stay with uncle King , bri , Hayden & kaysen the entire summer " they smiled ear to ear "okay". I smiled "okay , now y'all go pack ... Daddy's waiting ". I was finishing up packing when savion came in my room & laid on the bed "what's wrong kid?" I asked , he had a distasteful look on his face. "I don't like dads new girlfriend " I sat beside him "who Ashley ?" "Yes ma'am, she's mean when dad isn't around .... One day dad had to go to work & left us home with Ashley & she wouldn't feed us until that night " I shook my head "well you don't have to worry about that , y'all can go to grandmas house instead " he smiled "& if anything else happens come to me , I'll handle her " he laughed "okay mama ".

I've put up with a lot of James's girlfriends , I've had to put up with a crazy ass Mexican bitch , a snow bunny, & some crazy Jamaican , & not forgetting Christian ass. But what I won't & will not tolerate is them mistreating my kids who haven't done anything to them.

"Thanks for watching them on such short notice ma " I said watching the kids eat. "No problem honey , you know I love my grand kids .. I thought James was gone watch them ?" I rolled my eyes "his new bit- I mean girlfriend been mistreating the twins " she pulled me into the living room "what you mean mistreating the twins ... Like touching them ?" I shook my head "do you think I would be this calm if something like that happened... No , when James leaves them home with her she won't feed until late that afternoon, so basically their home all day not eating .... Breakfast , lunch, no snacks or dinner & I know James keep food over there cause every time I get on Facebook he saying what he done cooked ... " my mom shook her head "let me talk to the girl , she had no right to not feed them ... What is she trying to prove ? " I shrugged "I don't even know but let me go before I miss my flight " "okay baby , be safe ... Tell everybody I said hey " "okay , bye ".

Hours later :
"Open the doooooooorrr " I said knocking on bri's front door. "Who is it " kings voice said. I rolled my eyes knowing that they probably was doing something "open the door nigga " . He opened the door laughing "wusup Mel" "get out my way , where bri & my god kids ?" "The kids getting dressed & bri in the bed". I walked up the stairs & into the kids room "mel!!!!! " they yelled hugging me "hey babies ! " "where's the twins ?" They asked "with their grandma " "how come they didn't come ?" Hayden asked "they had to stay with grandma this weekend & I only booked 1 ticket " "aye y'all finish getting dressed ... School start in 20 minutes " King said walking by. "Ima let y'all get dressed I'll see y'all later " "okay " they said. I walked in bri & King room. She was wrapped up in the covers & he was sitting on the side of the bed watching a basketball game. "Eww smells like sex in here " I said covering my nose . Bri popped her head up "bitch!" ...."Bitch!" I said jumping on the bed & laying beside her "damn Mel move tf over " King said pushing my legs "shut up " "when you get here ?" Bri asked laughing "This morning " . "Girl we gone have so much fun this weekend , we hitting clubs every night " I laughed "yess" "just better not find no niggas " King said looking at bri. I laughed "that's the point , she don't need you , don't you got what's her name .... Cash ?" "Oop, petty wap " bri said getting up covering her body with the comforter. "Let me get dressed, King you taking the kids to school ? " he nodded.

"How long you & bri been at this ?" I said. King laughed "I'm trying to get my family back , could you at least have in me" I shrugged "I have a little faith in you & considering that bri is crazy about you ..... You might get her back " he started smiling "da we ready" kaysen said walking in "okay let's go" he put a shirt on & shoes then left.

A couple minutes later
"King & the kids left ?" Bri said walking out the bathroom with one of kings shirts on. "Yup" I said nodding "oh , you hungry ?" She walked out the room , I followed "nah nie don't try & avoid what you know I'm about to ask " she turned around "what you mean ?". "I thought you were so done with King" I said looking through the fridge. "I am , he just stays over some nights for the kids & some how we end up fucking .... I've tried to tell him that im trying to loose all feelings for him but everytime I try it's like he don't be listening " I shook my head "that's why we going out tonight so we can find you a new husband & the kids a new step daddy " she started making breakfast.
