*School on Monday*
*lunch*

"So in a month exactly, it will be your one year together." Arianna says to me and Hayes.

"Well yeah, other than our day break." I say quietly.

"We won't count that. If you want to get real, it wasn't even a full day. We never really said the words "we're done."" Hayes says.

"I know." I say taking a bite of my salad. Arianna and Shawn ask about it (he's home from tour (in the book)). We explain to them. I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's a kid that's been picking on me since 3rd grade.

"What. Are you eating that salad to try and lose weight?" She says.

"Last time I checked which was this morning, I'm actually 5 pounds under weight. Thank you very much." I tell her. "Why do you hate me anyways?" I ask her.

"Remember in third grade when we had our birthday parties on the same day and everyone went to yours and not mine?" She says back to me.

"That was in Third grade. Get over it. It was our 9th birthday. It's not as special as a sweet sixteen." I tell her. She looks at me. I notice that the two tables that are next to us are staring at me.

"Over something so stupid, that you hate her. I hope you become mature before we graduate next year." Hayes says. The rest of the group chimes in and says something.

Marissa's face gets bright red. She looks at the whole group, standing in front of her. She walks away.

We sit back down to finish eating.

"Taylor Montez, and Hayes Grier to the office please." The assistant principle says over the loud speaker. We both get up and throw our stuff away.

"Marissa told me that you hit her Taylor, and that you wanted Taylor to hit her Hayes." The assistant principal says.

"I never hit her." I told the truth.

"I never said anything or thought anything about hitting her or anyone." Hayes says.

The assistant principal takes the three of us into his office to talk. He asks us questions.

"I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to answer any questions until a parent or guardian is with me." I say.

"Same with me." Hayes tells him. He calls our parents. They get to the school.

"My husband and I always taught Taylor to not hit unless the person hits her first. We know that she wouldn't hit anyone. She doesn't like violence." My mom says.

Hayes' mom says something like that too.

Marissa's parent's get there.

"We know she would never hit another student or cause any drama with another person." Her mom says.

"Well she's been picking on me since the third grade. I've tried so many times to make it stop but she keeps doing it." I tell them. They look at me and back at Marissa.

"Is this true?" They ask her.

Her face gets bright red. She looks down at the ground.

"We want the truth." Her mom says.

"Yea." She says.

The principal looks back at her.

"Any form of bullying and picking on is against the law. Unfortunately I am going to have to suspend you for 5 days. You can come back to school on Tuesday next week." The principal says.

She looks at the principal. Her eyes start watering.

"I can't be suspended. It will go onto my school record and colleges will see it." She says.

"If you didn't want to be suspended, you shouldn't of bullied her." Marissa's mom says.

"Go get your things to go and homework from the rest of today's classes. You can get the rest of this weeks assignments for Marissa on Friday Mr. and Mrs. Jackson." The assistant principal tells them.

"You both can go back to lunch. Ill get all of this taken care of." He (The assistant principal) tells Hayes and I.

"Actually, can we pull them out for the day?" Our parents ask.

"Taylor has a doctor appointment at one." My mom says.

"Hayes has a dentist at 12:30. And I don't think any of us three want to drive back here later." Hayes' mom says.

"I guess so. Just go sign them out."

They sign us out.

"I have to go back to the cafeteria. I forgot my sweater in there." I tell my mom.

"Okay." She tells me.

"Go get your stuff." Mr. Cooper tells us. We walk out and get my sweater and go to our lockers. We meet our parent's in front of the office and walk out.

"Get your cars and meet us at home." Our mom's says. We walk around the building and unlock our cars.

"I love you." I turn around to Hayes. He wraps his arms around me. I smile.

"I love you to." He says. He kisses me. He opens my door for me and reaches over to grab my keys. He starts my car for me and closes the door. We both drive home.

*After the appointments.*

'Are you able to come over and hang out?' Hayes texts me. I go to ask my parents.

'I'll be over in 5 minutes.' I text him back.

I get on my bike and Cece walks out.

"I'm going over to Taylor's." She tells me.

"I'm going to Hayes' house"

Cece gets on her bike and we ride our bikes. We split off once I got to Hayes street. I put my bike up by the garage. I knock on the door, and Will opens it.

"Hi, uh Taylor right?" He says.

"Yea I'm Taylor. Hi" I say. I walk inside.

"No need to scare her Will." Nash laughs walking into the room.

"He didn't scare me." Hayes walks into the room and kisses me on the cheek. We walk upstairs to his room. He tosses me onto his bed.

"Hayes, what are you doing?" I ask him. He turns around. I smile knowing what he's doing.

"Do you want to?" He asks me.

"But your family is here."

"So we can be quiet."

"Okay."

It starts out as kissing and moves to getting undressed. He kisses me again. I get goosebumps as he starts moving me back and forth. He stops moving his hands along with my hips and I keep going. He makes it so he's laying down.

His phone starts ringing.

"Hello?" He answers his phone. I stop.

"Here, Cece needs to talk to you. She forgot her phone at home." He hands me the phone.

"Hello." I say. She asks me for my mom's number so she can call and ask her something. We hang up the phone.

We get done with having sex.

"I have to be home in twenty minutes." I tell him.

"Okay. It only takes you five on a bike." We get dressed. We go down stairs as Autumn walks in. Nash, Autumn, Hayes, and I go back to my house to hang out.
