Chapter Sixteen

*Monday*
*Taylor POV*
  *Third Period*

"Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend," The teacher says.

"If you would like to share what you did over the weekend, raise your hands," She says again. I decide to raise my hand, because why not? She looks at me after another student shares.

  "I went to a hotel with Hayes, to celebrate our one year together," Everyone stares at me.

"Congratulations to you two," The teacher says.

"Thanks," I smile.

"You're parents let you stay in a room, with Hayes, and no one with you," The girl behind me asks.

"Yeah. They trust us enough not to do anything stupid. And plus my mom made me promise that we wouldn't do anything stupid," I say. Other students share after me, but not everyone shares. The teacher goes over today's lessons/notes. She gives us the homework,  which is just an overview for the next chapter.

We have 20 minutes to work on it. I get most of it done, so that I don't have a lot for homework.

*Lunch*
  *Cece POV*

  "What do we do in Environmental Science," I ask Taylor.

  "We go over notes for the next chapter and get an overview for homework. But we get time in class to work on it," She says

  *Autumn POV*

I'm honestly so tired. I barely got any sleep last night. I only came to school so that if I'm really sick or something, I can stay home. I sit down next to Alicia. Arianna comes and sits down next to Taylor.

"Hey," Arianna says. We all say hi to her. Once we get done with our food, we decide to go to Taylor and Hayes' locker for the rest of lunch. Which is only 10 minutes until we have to get ready for class. 20 minutes until we have to be in class.

"I'll be right back. I have to use the restroom,"I tell them. I walk into the bathroom and into a stall.

  *Hayes POV*

  I look down the hall and see a fight break out. It's right by the girls bathroom.

  "I have to go make sure Autumn is okay and that she doesn't get hit. Who wants to go with me,"I ask the girls. Taylor and Alicia go with me. Alicia walks in there.

  "Taylor, come here please," we hear Alicia say. Tay walks in there. I hope everything is okay in there. I would walk in, but I would get in trouble for walking in the women's bathroom. A couple minutes pass and the three of them walk out. Tay and Alicia with their arms on Autumn's back so she doesn't fall.

  We take her to the office. I walk behind them, just in case she falls backwards. I open the door for them, as they walk in. Autumn sits down next to Alicia.

  "Hi, Autumn is my cousin. She's not feeling good. Alicia and I just found her in the bathroom, next to the toilet. Can I call my aunt to come sign her out," Taylor says to the secretary.

She dials her aunt's number.

"Hi Aunt Carly, Autumn isn't feeling good. She has late morning sickness. Can you come sign her out please. She doesn't look good at all," I tell her.

"Yeah I'm on my way. Tell her I'll be there in a minute. Is there anyway that you or a friend of hers or yours that you trust that can drive her car home after school," Aunt Carly says.

"Uh, Hayes drove with me, so I'll see if he can,"

"Thank you sweetie,"

"You're welcome," We hang the phone up and I say that she's on her way. 5 minutes later, She comes in and signs Autumn out.

Alicia splits off from Taylor and I. We go to our lockers. Thankfully, before they left, Arianna and Cece closed our lockers for us.

*Taylor POV*
  *After School*

  It's a good thing my mom isn't home from the hair/nail salon and spa place. Hayes has still to sign his card, and put the chocolate with it. I still have to wrap her present and sign the card. Since Alex doesn't have money to get mom anything, I'll let him sign the card. The present can be from both of us.

  "I have to go pick your mom up. Don't do anything you two," My dad says to Hayes and I. Alex isn't home yet. He'll be home in like and hour and a half. Cece texts me and says that she's with Caniff. So it's going to be just me and Hayes for a little while.

  *Phone call*
   *M= me. D=Dad.*

M:Hello.
D: I'm taking mom to the spa place, so don't get worried that we won't be home soon.
M:Okay. We have to do homework and wrap the presents.
D:Okay. Be good.
M: We will be.
D: See you in a little while. Love you.
M: Love you too dad.

We hang up and I put my phone down. We go back upstairs with our book bags to do homework. I put my back up against the head board and my homework folder on my lap. I grab a pencil out of my bag.

"Can I use a pencil please beautiful," Hayes asks.

"Yeah," He grabs one out.

"Thanks,"

"No problem,"

I get the overview from 3rd hour and book out and finish the last 10 questions. Thankfully I finished the math homework in class today.  Once I get done with the last question, I put my stuff away. I get up off of my bed and walk around to my bedroom door. Hayes puts my pencil back and his homework in his book bag.

  We go downstairs and get a snack. I end up making a bag of popcorn. I grab a glass out to get sweet tea. Hayes follows behind me and gets sweet tea too.

   *Hayes POV*

Tay's dad just got home. Alex should be home within the next half hour.

"Hey Tay, in about an hour and a half, can you go pick your mom up from the spa," Her dad asks her.

  "Yeah,"

*30 minutes later*

Alex walks through the door. We say hi to him. The next hour passes and we go to the spa. We get Tay's mom and go home. We make her birthday dinner and have cake afterwards.
