Twenty Five

*Autumn POV*

Today is the last day of school. Tomorrow is my due date. So I'm kind of hoping that tomorrow is the day, instead of going past tomorrow. The doctor called me 2 or 3 days ago. She wants to see me today. So I'm leaving right from the school since my appointment is at noon.

"Hey babe," Nash says as I sit in his car.

"Hey," I say. He kisses me.

"Are you ready to go," He asks me, after I put the seat belt on.

"Yeah," We drive for a few minutes in silence. I look over at Nash. He stops at the light and looks at me.

"What's wrong," He asks, breaking the silence.

"Nothing. I'm just kind of nervous," I say.

"Everything is going to be fine. You'll have me, my family, your family, and friends there to support you when the day comes," He tells me. The light turns green.

"I know, it's just that I don't really care for being in the hospital, and I don't want anything to go wrong. I want it all to be perfect," I say.

"And it will be perfect. I will make sure of that and I will make sure that you're comfortable," Nash says. We've got about another ten-fifteen minutes until we're at the doctor's office.

"Thank you," I say. I decide to turn the radio on. The channel it's on is on commercial, so I change it. Taylor texts me.

'Hey. Are you still coming over after your appointment?' She texts me.

"Yeah. I plan on it.' I text back. We finally get to the doctor's office, after what feels like forever. I sign in and go sit next to Nash.

"Autumn Tyler" A nurse says, opening a door. Nash and I stand up and walk through the door. She takes my weight and does everything that they're supposed to do. She takes us to the room. The doctor comes in after a few minutes.

"How are you doing today," She asks.

"Good, how are you," Nash and I both reply.

"I'm doing good. So we're just going to do an ultrasound today. When we do this ultrasound, it should tell us how the babies are and everything,"

"Okay," I say.

"So we're going to get started," She says grabbing out the gel and a pair of gloves.  She rubs the gel onto my stomach, as I get used to it being cold. She turns the monitor on and we look at the screen.

"Okay, so if your water doesnt break either tonight or by about four P.M. tomorrow, we're going to have you go to the hospital at about six P.M. so that you can be induced, and give birth,"

"Is there anything that we need to bring other than baby stuff and clothes for me to change into," I ask her.

"Just remember to eat a good filling meal before coming in. And of course whatever you feel is apropriate to bring for the babies,"

"Okay. Thank you so much," Nash and I both say. She rubs the gel off of my stomach, and I pull my shirt back down.

"Yeah, no problem. I'll see you soon," She says, putting her hand on the door. The three of us walk out of the room.

"If you don't come in before six, I will have a room signed out for you," The doctor says.

"Okay. Thank you," I say.

"You're welcome," Nash and I walk out to the car and go over to Taylor's house.

'On our way' I text Taylor.

'Okay' She texts me back. Nash pulls up to Taylors house and we both walk inside.

"So how was your appointment," Taylor asks.

"It went fine. If my water doesnt break by 4 P.M. tomorrow, I have to go to the hospital so that I can be induced and everything,"

"Oh so either way, you're going to have to pack everything," Alicia says.

"We're pretty much packed, but we still have some things to pack," Nash says.

"Oh. Well when do you want to go do that," Hayes asks us.

"It doesn't matter. We can do it later tonight when we get back to my house," I say.

"Okay. Are you sure," Taylor asks me.

"Yeah. It's fine," I reply.

"So what do you guys want to do," Nash asks.

"I made water balloons if you guys wanna have a water balloon fight," Taylor asks.

"Sounds like fun," Hayes looks at her. Taylor goes to get the balloons as the rest of us go outside.

*Taylor POV*

"Need some help beautiful," Hayes comes up behind me.

"Sure," I say. He picks up the bin of water balloons and I go to open the door for him.

"Thanks beautiful," He says, stopping and kissing my cheek.

"Thanks for carrying it for me," I say, closing the door.

"No going to the face or chest," Hayes says to everyone. Everyone looks at him.

"And go," Caniff says. I look over to Nash to see him walk over to Autumn with 2 balloons. He squeezes both over her head.

"I'm going to get you back for that babe," She says. Hayes hits me with a balloon and it explodes all over me. By the time I go to get more balloons theres only two left. I gice one to Autumn. She throws it at Nash. As I go to throw the other one at Hayes, he runs and picks me up. I squeeze it over his head instead.

"Okay, so what are we going to do now,"  Alicia says.

"I don't know. Its pretty hot out. Do you guys wanna go swimming," Caniff asks. Everyone agrees and we all go back inside. Cece and I grab our bathing suits and quickly change. Since everyone didn't bring their bathing suits, we go to their houses as well.

*At the beach*

"You should run and jump in," Caniff says to Hayes.

"Well, there's no way I'm doing it alone," Hayes says back to him.

"Will you run with me beautiful," Hayes asks me.

"Well since Caniff brought it up, he should do it too," I say. The three of us run into the river. Hayes comes up and hugs me. Caniff tackles him, making us both fall all the way under the water.
