Falling For a Jerk // Travlyn

Katelyn:

I sat down on my bed, hugging my legs. It was the day after me and Travis had a "little" fight. Travis kept sending me text messages and stuff but I decided to check them later. My eyes wandered over to my window. Since I put everything away on my desk near the window, I could see out of it clearly. All I could see was the backyard. I sighed and stood up. I walked over to my desk and pushed it to the side. Then I went over to my window.

I rested my chin on my palm and just looked at what was outside. I could see some squirrels in the backyard, playing with each other. I sighed once more. God. I wish I could all just be carefree and happy like those squirrels. But sadly, I can't. I have to face everything there is in life. Ugh.

I looked at the squirrels for the moment and realized they were fighting over an acorn. Images of Travis and I fighting flashed through my head. I shook my head quickly. Ugh. I should get him out of my mind! I looked down at the backyard and noticed that there were some leaves falling out of the trees. One leaf caught my eye.

It was bright green. It was different like all the others. I sighed again. Just like his eye color. Different from the rest. I shook my head once more and groaned loudly. Ugh. Get out of my head, you freaking idiot! My subconscious yelled. I bit my lip and decided to just look up at the sky since anything I look at reminded me of that idiot.

I looked up at the sky and smiled. It felt relaxing. Just looking up at the sky and seeing how bright and sunny it was. It was a calm and sunny day. I looked at the clouds which were moving at a slow pace. Then I was reminded by him again. The clouds were the color of his hair. White. That was the most unique feature he had. His hair color.

It was because no one else has that kind of hair color except some old people. Unlike me, a lot of people have blue hair because they dye it blue. But nobody else would think of dying their hair white. I sighed dreamily while looking up at the sky. God, I miss that jerk. It has only been a day and I already miss him.

I realized what I have been doing and shook my head. "Ugh! What has gotten into me?!" I exclaimed in disbelief. I bit my lower lip and decided to stay away from my window. It just reminded me so much of Travis. Ugh.

What was once I liked to look out of, now was what I avoided the most. It just reminded me too much of what I hate.

Anyways, RANT TIME!! Yes, that's going to be a thing now. xD Doesn't everybody else besides me find it cute that Katelyn can't stop thinking of Travis? Erhmagod. My inner fan girl is going crazy right now. 😆
