Blake seemed kinda off when he met Cole. It was almost as if something in his head had clicked or something that started to make sense. Whatever it was I noticed it and I'm sure Ryan did as well.
Once we all introduced ourselves I decided to have a vote on whether to go zip lining or water skiing.
"Okay so raise your hand for zip lining and keep your hand down for water skiing." I said looking at them.
Blake and Cole for zip lining and Ryan for water skiing.
"I'm really sorry Ryan but I kinda want to go zip lining." I said apologetically.
"You guys picked that probably because you knew I was scared of heights." She said as if it was a fact.
"I never knew that. I'm sorry." Blake said genuinely.
"I don't think you ever told us that." I laughed.
"Well now you know." She huffed.
"Okay let's just go already." Cole said his voice raised just a little.
"I'm with him, lets go!"
After we finally got Ryan to go zip lining at least once we headed to get our gear. The zip lining was on top of the ship obviously. Outside was a huge crowd of people in lines for all different activities and concession stands. Everyone who was going on the zip lining had to have a purple wrist band. The line was super long and we had to wait for like thirty minutes.
"Who's going first? And definitely not me." Ryan said putting her hand up in the air.
"I'm definitely going first! And all you peasants can go after me." Cole laughed hopefully joking.
"Did you just call me a peasant?" I asked.
"Yeah, but I guess your a deaf peasant." He smiled cheekily showing off his perfect pearly whites.
"Whatever, at least I'm not a, wait then what are you?" I said flatly.
"I'm awesome that what." Cole bragged.
"Haha sure you are." I said shoving his shoulder but failed and almost falling on my face.
"And you're a clumsy peasant also." He laughed.
"Well at least I'm not a-"
"I'll go first, since you two are having a little spat." Blake said and then stepped in front of Cole.
The guy who controlled the zip lining gave Blake a helmet, harness, and last but not least a hook that connected him to the line. His face was pretty calm considering he was about to go across the entire cruise ship. I'm guessing he's done this before.
"Ready?" The man said giving him a forced smile.
"Heck yeah." He smiled crazily.
"Okay, I'm going to count to three and you are going to jump off. But you can't go upside down and your eyes must be open. When you get to the end someone will pull you into the platform, then you can take off you helmet and harness. Give it to the small desk." He said quickly.
"Okay I think I got that." Blake said.
"Okay...1...2...3...GO!!!"
He jumped off backwards sticking his hands in the are and saying -more like yelling- "surfs up" then sticking his tongue out like a seven year old. We all looked in amazement at him until he was a black small figure.
"Who's going next?" I say when we can no longer see Blake since he's probably on the platform thingy the guy was talking about.
"I'll go next." Ryan said with a determined smile on her face.
"You sure?" I asked not sure if she really wanted to but it was too late to back down now.
"Yup, now I need my helmet and stuff." She said walking over to the guy who gave Blake his gear.
When she was ready the guy went over the same directions he told Blake. With the same forced smile and the annoyed voice. I think he should be happy that he's on a cruise ship and its his job. I mean who would want to work on a cruise ship.
"Ready?" The man said.
"Yeah." Ryan said hesitantly.
"Okay, 1...2...3-"
"I think I'm going to be sick." Ryan said right before the said go. But she was too late and was about to turn around when she tripped on who know what. And then fell off the platform we are on and went zip lining.
Like before we watched as she grew smaller and smaller.
"Do you want to go first or shall I?" I asked Cole.
"Ladies first." Cole said smirking evilly. This probably isn't going to end well.
"Fine, thank you for being such a gentleman." I teased.
"Okay, I'm going to count to three-"
"I got it, I'm ready." I said already memorizing what the man said to Blake and Ryan.
"Fine, 1...2-"
Before then man said go I felt a huge push on my back and I fell off the platform and went plunging to my death. Well actually I went plunging into the air with a line holding me but I didn't expect for I'm guess Cole to push me off. So it gave me a mini heart attack.
Right when I fell I heard Cole laughing his butt off. I'm going to get him back for that. Now that I think of it that's probably why he was letting me go first and smirking.
"Ahhhhh!!!!! Goodbye beautiful world!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I got farther from the platform I was just on.
I soon saw Blake and Ryan waiting for the rest of us to come.
"How was it?" Blake asked with a huge smile playing on his face.
"That was freaking crazy but awesome at the same time." I said trying to catch my breath for some reason.
"What about you?" I asked.
"I've been on many zip lines but that one was just beautiful, seeing the clear water going on for miles. It was awesome." Blake gushed smiling the whole time.
"Hundred percent agreed." I laughed.
"How did you like it Ms. Ryan?" I asked looking towards her. She looked completely dazed.
"I...I...want to go again!" She chuckled coming out of her daze.
"Incoming!" Cole yelled.
