My bedroom door swings open as mom walks in and says "oh good, you're finally out of bed." What is she talking about? I haven't moved an inch since I turned off my alarm. Slowly, I open my eyes to find myself in front of the mirror dressed in school clothes and brushing my teeth. Weird. I must have been sleep walking.
I take another look at myself. I had dirty-blonde hair that got a golden tint near the ends. My hair wrapped around my head like Justin Bieber's did when he started his career. I finish up in the bathroom and head down stairs for some breakfast.
Wait a minute, something is missing. Tommy is usually yelling about nonsense in my ear by now, and Rath should be complaining about whatever he can think of.
However, I'm too tired to think much of it, so I continue toward the kitchen. Now the hard part. I can never decide between fruit loops and cocoa puffs, but I didn't have to choose this time. My hand just reached for the fruit loops before I could even evaluate my options.
Okay, this is getting weird. As I eat my cereal, I try to review what happened. However, time is not on my side. It's already time to go. "BYE, MOM" I yell as I run out the door to my new school. I attempt to start sprinting, but instead I stop and turn back around. Then I hear a voice "don't forget your pencil pouch, Luke." Was that Ned? It couldn't be. This voice wasn't in my head it came from my own mouth.
I start walking back to the house. Except, I'm not walking. I can't do anything.
when whatever is controlling me grabs my pens, I suddenly regain control. What just happened? was that Ned?
I wish I had time to stand dumbfounded, but I would be tardy on my first day if I wasted anymore time.
I barge out the door once more. Hoping that whatever happened, won't happened again. Then again, I never have good luck.
