HIM

"James, james!" I hear someone's calling me. It's a voice of a woman, someone I knew. It's getting louder and louder and as I open my eyes, I saw the woman who owns the voice in my mind.

I can't utter a word because of how embarass I am right now. I can't speak because I was speechless as to what happen at the moment, she smiles and shakes her head.

"Hey, you okay?" she touches my cheeks down to my jawline and look at me while grinning.

And that moment, I can now breath–relief just by her touch. I nod my head in assurance and look away. Well, I just did the most stupid thing which is I imagined again of kissing her but now it's entirely an imagination. I assume too much because of the sudden happenings and that's how I ended, frustrated. I took a sip of the liquor and didn't do nothing on my seat. I watch her as she joins the group on the dancefloor. She is dancing to the fullest that she almost fell on the floor, goodness Yassi was there to save her.

She is drunk and I know it. When she dances too much and laugh too much, I knew it. She looks like she doesn't care in the world, she was swaying her hips to the music and flipping her hair back and forth. She is enjoying and I am glad just seeing her acting that way.

Sam went to her and ask her to dance, I knew just by the way Sam's moving. She didn't hesitate to accept and they danced, at first they were far away with each other–bodies not yet touching but then a few minutes passed Sam's being touchy with her. Sam's been touching her shoulders and then stroking her hair back on his ears but she doesn't care. I force myself not to get jealous or act furious but my nerves is just getting me.

Suddenly, Nadine just throw her hands on Sam's neck and dance with him sexily. Sam knew that she is mine mine only, he knew that. So obviously, he needs to back off right now. I stood up and head to them but still they didn't notice me. I deeply sigh, stopping myself not to get in trouble but I don't think so.

Calm down Hayme, he is yours. You know that. Just. Calm. Down.

Sam has been my bestfriend for how many years and he knew what I like and I don't like. Basically, he didn't knew that I don't like someone's touching what is mine. They keep dancing like they are a couple and he knew that he's not drunk and he can pull off his emotions or what he is doing.

I stood firmly, "Bro."

"James," once he heard my voice he let go of Nadine like she's a fire burning.

"Can I borrow her for a while?" I eye Nadine, looking wasted as ever. He just nods and tap me on my shoulder.

"Sure bro, she's all yours."

I nod then grab Nadine's arms. She came up to her senses and try to let go of my grip but she doesn't have that much power. I drag her at the upper part of the club, where VIP's spend their time to chill here. It's a little peaceful here because the music isn't too loud.

"Hoy ano ba, let go please?" she said and rolls her eyes and sit down at the sofa.

I join her and face the wasted Naddie but still looks beautiful. Nothing has ever made me dislike her, even she is so quirky and too loud. Sometimes annoying and irritating, I like it. I like her–no, I love her.

"Can I go back downstairs? So boring here." She was about to walk away but I grip her wrist.

"You are such a stubborn young woman, you know that," I tell her softly which she just looks at me blankly.
