Chapter 31

Leighton POV

I was walking in the hallway when I heard a familiar yell, no no no please don’t be Harry. I walked up to the door and peeked through the window and sure enough there he is, standing over someone screaming to stay away from ‘him’ if he knows whats good for him.

“You can’t do anything to me Styles!” the boy on the floor laughed coldly

Fuck, I know that voice. I reached down to grab the handle of the door and as soon as I opened the door, Harry threw Nathan to the floor and kicked him violently in the stomach.

“I know what you’re up to Nathan and it isn’t going to fucking work! We’ve been friends for too long for your pathetic plan to work” Harry screamed after he leaned down to punch him

I walked up calmly behind Harry so I don’t freak him and gently rubbed his back.

“Leighton you need to take Harry and leave, he can come back tomorrow but right now just leave” Mrs. Flack says defeated

“What so he can just do this an nothing with happen?” Nathan asked in disbelief

“You just don’t understand Nathan, we are untouchable.” I whispered then walked out the door with Harry

His fists were still balled into fists and his veins were popping out of his neck.

“You wanna tell me what that was all about Harry?” I questioned

“Nathan is up to something, he’s tearing us all apart, I can feel it!” he shouted making me take a step back, he noticed he made me uncomfortable and took a deep breath to calm himself “I know he had something to do with Liam and Dani I SAW IT, I know he’s trying to keep Lou away from me, I just know”

“Harry...babe, you are kind of doing that yourself, you can’t keep treating Lou like shit and expect him to sit around and take it. My brother is a hopeless romantic, always has been. He’ll do whatever it takes to feel loved.”

“I know”

“Then do something about it! Stop being a fucking baby about it!” I paused realizing I skipped over something he said “What do you mean Nathan had something to do with Dani and Liam?”

He ran his hands down his face, sucked in a deep breath and started…

“It was at the party, everyone was talking to everyone so I didn’t really pay attention to it. Dani and Nathan were in a corner, talking like they were best mates. I walked away and kept drinking, but when I walked back passed them and I heard Nathan say ‘this is gonna work’ then he handed Dani something, idk what it was but I know right after she walked up to Liam and started talking to him.”

“Haz, why… THE FUCK didn’t you tell anyone!” I turned away from him and started running down the corridor

“LEIGHTON WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?” Harry yelled running after me

I turned right down the corridor and sprinted to the end of it and flung the door of the girls locker room open, I knew she was to be in here. Harry stopped at the door “Leighton don’t do anything stupid…” he groaned

“Oi! Look who’s talking! You just stomped Nathan, go away Harry, I have something to do!” I shouted, I could feel the anger boiling up inside me, I knew as soon as she walked through the door she was done for.

Harry starred at me for a moment before turning around and saying “I’m getting Niall, before you do something stupid” letting the door shut behind him.

As if Niall cares.

I stood atop a bench in the locker room for a few minutes before she walked in laughing and smiling cutely with Eleanor, another bitch I hate, both of them sweaty red faced and their hair in tight perfect high ponytails. Before they noticed me I quickly jumped down and shoved Eleanor away.

“What the fuck did you do!” I yelled as I shoved Dani into one of the lockers.

“Lei, fuck off. I don’t have time for this” she sighed and tried to walk away from me

I grabbed her by her perfect little ponytail and slammed her back into the locker and grabbed the back of her shirt pushing her into it. I heard her whimper and that just made me put more force into it.

“Tell me what you did an I’ll let you goooo” I said in a teasing tone

“NATHAN! Nathan paid me to do that to Liam, I didn’t want to but it was a lot of money…” she trailed off during the end

“To do what exactly?” I pulled her hair tighter

“To drug him then sleep with him!”

“What would even make you think that’s okay?” I questioned and let her hair go

“Before you came around Liam was mine! But after you showed up he forgot about me like I never existed! After you left him for Harry I thought I had a chance but he still ignored me. THEN that paki came around… Nathan offered me a way to get Liam back so I took it… I’d do it again in a heartbeat.” She said with a small smirk pulling at her lips

I turned around to see Eleanor still standing there looking unfazed but what her friend just said. I looked back at Dani to see a full smirk on her face and before I knew it my left fist was crashing into her jaw. She fell back slamming against the lockers again.

Dani wouldn’t go down without a fight.

She ran back towards me lunging for my hair, once she got it she yanked me down to the floor making my head slam into the pavement. I kicked my legs up and slammed them into her chest sending her once again against the lockers, and sliding down them clutching her chest.

I stood and started walking towards her, I grabbed the front of her shirt bringing her up to eye level. My left fist was balled into a fist and pulled back by my head ready to once again crash into her face.

Then it all went black…

Niall POV

Harry dragged me and Liam out of class shouting about how Nathan set Liam up and that Dani was behind it.

“Leighton is in there with her!” he yelled again before he started running towards the gym

Liam and I followed close behind. As we got closer and closer we could hear muffled screams and the sound of fist and lockers slamming.

As I was about to throw open the door Leighton came walking out with a smirk on her face. I looked down at her hand her knuckles were cut at bleeding.

“I know how to fix everything!” she looked up at me and smiled before reaching into her pocket and reapplying her red lipstick. She turned on her heel and started walking up the corridor.

“Oi where are you goin!” I shouted after her

“I need to find Zayn!” she started running, I stood there for a moment.

Zayn! That asshole kissed my girlfriend! I don’t care what his reason was. No! just no!

Liam pushed my shoulder and started running passed me with Harry following “LETS GO NIALL!”

I sigh running my fingers through my hair before I started running to catch up to them. I don’t know maybe I’m just not as optimistic as I used to be. I just don’t have a good feeling about this…
