Epilogue

The next few months went by at ease for Niall, Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis and Leighton. The 'wanted' guys all got into some serious trouble for falling into the boy’s trap. Nathan and Max got 6 months while the others were assigned a probation worker for 6 months. 

•Liam and Jes had a serious talk after everything settled down, Jes wanted out of this life. She didn’t plan to continue on acting like this once she arrived at M.I.T in America. Although, everyone already knew she wouldn’t. This ‘life’, the way her brother and her friends were was never for her, everyone knew she did it for her brother. Liam on the other hand, this was all he knew. Did he want to continue like this forever? Maybe not, but for now… He had zero intentions of stopping. 

With that realization, Liam knew they wouldn’t last. They ended it just before graduation, it hurt and they were both saddened by this, but it had to be done. 

•Zayn kept his word and never spoke to Sophia again, after a few weeks he realized he didn’t care about her anymore. However he did like to mess with her, and this time getting Nialls permission, he did just that. They flaunted their “relationship” in front of her constantly. Sophia lost it one day and never came back to school. Not that anyone cared. 

•Harry and Louis came out as a couple. A few people had a few not-so-nice words to say about it and they each got dealt with, physically and verbally. Even though he never admitted it Harry was still slightly bitter that Leighton had moved on from him because, well no one gets over Harry Styles. He let it slide after a few months when he realized he didn’t deserve either one of the Tomlinson twins. He told Louis this; Louis scoffed followed by telling him and showing him why he was imperfectly perfect for him. 

•Louis and Leighton, Their relationship never really changed. Louis kept his role as the childish older brother and Leighton stayed his caring although RUDE younger sister (by 13 minutes). If worse came to worse they knew that they always had each other and there wasn’t anything anyone could do about it. 

•Niall, Niall changed the most. Niall found himself. He was no longer the boy who wore Khaki’s he hated with cardigans he hated even more. He was finally comfortable enough in his skin to be himself, no more covering up feeling the need to impress everyone else. Niall was happier in the last year than he had ever been before and he had his friends to thank for that. 

Everyone was gathered at a Starbucks up the road from the high school they were now Alumni of. 

“I cant believe its over…” Liam spoke first 

“What’s gonna happen at university?” Zayn finished 

“umm, obviously we live life.” Louis stated matter-of-factly 

Niall chuckled “Always a smart ass Tomlinson” 

Leighton butted in “We’re smart and have ass babe!” she laughed slapping her brothers bum and pointing to hers 

Life was great, they were happy and back on top of the world. No one fucked with them, no one looked at them, no one spoke to them outta turn. As the fall semester of university started it was just like high school. Except they didn’t need to act out, University students were nothing like high school students. 

Liam and Harry were business majors. 

Louis and Leighton were education/literature majors. 

Niall and Zayn were Art majors minoring in music.

It was just like high school in the sense that they were best mates who would do anything for each other. 

“I really am glad everything is back to normal” Leighton sighed as she sat next to Liam and Niall in the lounge room of Nialls house 

“Me too Lei!” Liam smiled 

“Yo!!!” Zayn yelled “Who’s ready to get in some trouble?” Zayn shouted as he ran in the front door and smirked at his friends on the floor 

Niall Liam and Leighton looked at each other for a few minutes before jumping to their feet and bolting for the door. Just like old times. 

Louis and Harry, or Larry as Leighton called them, were out celebrating their one year anniversary of ACTUALLY being a couple. Nothing fancy that wasn’t them, they went to see a film at the cinema, then to a pub, then they ended the night at a club. As they stumbled out of the front door of Funky Buddha Louis got a phone call from Leighton asking him to come and bail her out. 

“Are the others with you as well?” he chuckled 

“Obviously you idiot!” she replied trying not to laugh 

A few hours later they walked out of the jail together, Nialls arm wrapped around Leighton, Harrys wrapped around Louis and to not feel left out Liam wrapped his arm over Zayns shoulders. 

They piled into the back of Louis and Zayns cars and headed to Riding House Café for tea and eggy toast. 

Best mates are what they were.

Best mates- Best Mates are very special people in your life. They are the first people you think about when you make plans. They are the first people you go to when you need someone to talk to. You will phone them up just to talk about nothing, or the most important things in your life. When you’re sad they will try their hardest to cheer you up. They give the best hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to cry on, because you know that they truly care about you. In most cases they would take a bullet for you, coz it would be too painful to watch you get hurt.
