Eleanor's POV

The walk to Henry's house is short.

I wish we could go back in time and re-live those moments.

As Hazel and I approach Henry's street, I begin to think deep about our conversation about how we trapped our cat, Missy, in a fort we built.

It's like the fort is everything that's going on in my life while Missy is me. I feel so trapped and scared and claustrophobic. It's like I cant breathe with everything going on, like suffocation.

"That's his house right?" Hazel asks me, interrupting me from my thoughts. I look to the house she is pointing at.

"Yep," I reply.

We walk up to the house and I knock on the front door.

A few moments later, the door opens and we are greeted with a pretty lady who must be Henry's mother.

"How can I help you young ladies?" She asks politely.

"Our brother stayed at this house overnight and now we are here to get him," Hazel replies.

"Oh yes! I'll be right back," she says and walks away from the front door.

About a minute later, Brayden and another boy, who I'm assuming is Henry, walk down the stairs.

"See you at school, Brayden," Henry tells him.

Then Henry and Brayden hug.

I look at them surprised and then I look over to Hazel who has a shocked but slightly disgusted facial expression.

I kick her in the leg to tell her to stop being mean. If they are just really close friends or if this is a relationship, it doesn't matter, as long as Brayden's happy.

Hazel's POV

After Brayden and Henry hug, I give a disgusted look to them. Henry is the kid that was stroking Brayden's cheek yesterday. They better be just friends. Honestly, that is disgusting. I mean, my brother doesn't look like a kind of guy to date other guys. Omg what if they did something dirty last night?

Before I get to finish my thoughts, I get kicked in the leg by Eleanor. I squeal a little but hold it in. We start to walk to school and start another conversation. Honestly, school isn't that far from here.

"So, did you two sleep well last night?" Brayden asks us.

"Yeah. We got our own beds, we slept well," El says.

"I did too. Despite the drama," I say, "How did you sleep Brayden?"

We arrive to the school and wait out front for our teachers to arrive.

"It was- great..." he trails off.

"What happened?" I instantly question.

"I- slept?"

"Next to him, right? You both slept together?" I snap.

El hits me in the arm, "Why are you questioning him?"

"Because our brother is a fucking faggot!" I yell, "don't you find it even a little bit disturbing that our brother kisses other boys and likes other boys?!"

"No! Because he's my brother and I love him no matter what! If he's happy then so am I!"

"Besides, why do you even care who I date?" Brayden yells at me.

"Because it's disgusting and inhumane to do that! Think about dad. What would he think? You look up to dad, right?"

"Stop it," El says, sternly.

I push Brayden and he lands against the wall. Some teachers, which I think are the guys come behind us and ask what's going on.

"Why don't you like girls?"

"Because I'm gay! There, you happy? I admit it!"

"No. I'm not happy," I say as I push him against the wall and close the gap between us with my lips. I push my lips against his and he nearly pushes back, but slides out of my grip and into Mr. Minter's arms.

I look around and see the looks on everyone's faces. Everyone is in shock. Then I look at Brayden's face. He is in tears and is buried into Mr. Minter's chest.

I start to tear up. Did I really do that? Why did I do it? Now that is disgusting.
