We got to class right as the bell rang. We would've been there sooner, but we decided to run to class the long way around. It was fun while it lasted. We sat in our seats, right by eachother. Actually, I sat in my seat, Max stood by his seat and did this weird, awkward, little bouncing thing. He can never sit still, especially in science. "Having fun Max?" I smirked at him. "Yeah." He continued to bounce until Mrs. Andrews told 'everyone' to sit down, though we all knew she meant Max.

Mrs. Andrews went on and on about her kids and how weird they are and how her mom flips shit every time she sees a frog, only unlike Mr. Davids (social studies teacher), her stories are funny. Whenever I have to listen to his stories, I seriously feel like throwing a book at his face or falling asleep. Mrs. Andrews's stories ended up taking almost all of our class time. I just love it when she does that. She ended up not making us do any work and just let us talk for the remaining three minutes of class. I turned to Max and let out a small sigh, he looked at me with curiosity and concern in his eyes. "What's up?" He asked in a sympathetic tone. "I was just thinking about how amazing her life must be, with two crazy children and a loving husband. It must be great!" With that statement I popped in my headphones, offering one to Max but he turned it down to draw. The bell rang as I got to the chorus of Coffin by Black Veil Brides. I awed and exclaimed to Max why I was so upset that I didn't get to finish the song and how it was going to be stuck in my head all day. We gathered our things and walked out of the classroom, turning to the left to head for our lockers.

Max and I headed to our next class, communication skills, a class where you basically write speeches and play games. Although I'm not the best public speaker, I surprisingly enjoy this class. As a bonus, sometimes I can somehow wriggle my favorite bands into my speeches, and I have no idea what genre of music Mrs. Payne listens to, but she always looks interested. The only problem is, Jessie is also in that class, but I do have a friend (though she's more of an acquaintance) in communication skills, Sophia, she's a cheerleader, we cheer together. She likes a lot of the same bands as me, and I really do like her, but Max always comes first. He's been my best friend for so long, so no matter how sweet or funny or generous the person, Max is always gonna be first.
