As I stomped through the village Madara followed silently. We didn't get as many looks like the first day, but people kept their distance from us. "Are you displeased with me woman?" He spoke up in a serious tone. I turned to look at him...
If looks could kill.
Then I turned back around and continued on my way to the hokage office. Once I made it inside, I pushed past Kakashi's assistant and burst through the door. "Kakashi Sensei, I can't do this anymore!" I growled angrily at him. I slammed my hands on his desk and his eyes widened. He knew I was 100% serious right now. "Aynomae please, just be reasonable. Its been two days, what did he do?" Kakashi shrugged nervously. My eye twitched a bit and I punched a hole into the wall next to us. "THAT BASTARD SET MY ENTIRE HOUSE ON FIRE!!! I LOST ALMOST EVERYTHING." I shouted at him. I heard Madara speak up a little bit in the background. "Not this." He handed me the picture. I took the picture and threw it at his head before turning my attention to Kakashi.
"Listen, we can have Yamato build you a house from the ground up if you wish so. Just please be reasonable. Madara picked you for a reason and I'm sure he wouldn't allow anyone else to be in his presence." Kakashi explained to me. "He picked me because he thinks I'm his girlfriend just because he says so." I crossed my arms.
Madara moved forward and joined the conversation. "If living is a difficulty, why are we not on the Uchiha compounds?" He said referring to where his clan resided. He must've seen it on the way here. I spoke up in protest. "First of all, No because that's where the massacre happened. Second of all, that's on the outskirts of the village. We'd be the only people living there. Are you insane or just stupid?" I waved my arms in protest. "Woman, you had better stop disrespecting me like so. I rule you." Madara dared to say to me.
My eyes started to twitch again. Kakashi must've seen it because he jumped between us to intervene. "Guys please, just calm down." He placed a hand on both of us and pushed us apart. "Now given the circumstances Ayno, I really do believe that you two should reside there. There are too many complaints coming from some of the villagers here and I just want to make sure you are safe." Kakashi explained to me. "Are you series sensei? I can take care of myself and I doubt that anyone would hurt me. Everyone loves me!" I frowned up at the thought of my friends turning on me. "That may be so, but there are still those type of people in the village that don't really know you all that well. On top of that, there's a rather dangerous curse of hatred you mustn't-"
"Lord 6th, we need you in the boarding room immediately!" A subordinate opened the doors and shouted quickly. Kakashi rubbed the back of his head and sighed. "Listen, move there please. Rember that this only lasts a month." Kakashi started to gather some papers and rushes out the door. "I'm not done with you Sensei! Ill be back tomorrow to appeal for Orochimaru!" I shouted at him as he rushed down the hall. "Lousy hokage...Lets go." I gripped Madara's arm and pulled him out of the office. I kept walking until we made it to a familiar doorstep. I knocked on the door and Sakura opened it with a smile. "Ah! Ayno it's you and..." She gasped a little and analyzed Madara next to me. Then she raised an eyebrow when her gaze travelled to me holding his arm. I chuckled nervously and let him go quickly.
"So everything Shikamaru told us is true." Sakura seemed to be talking to herself for a moment. "Oh, I'm sorry! Please come in Ayno...Lord Uchiha." She bowed respectfully to Madara. He looked at me and smirked. "Now if only you could be as loyal as this one is." He spoke shamelessly. "SHUT UP OLD MAN! SHE'S JUST BEING RESPECTFUL!" As soon as I said this, my ears were greeted by a shrill crying. I gasped knowing the mistake I made, waking little Sarada. "Sakura I'm so SO sorry!" I whisper/yelled a bit. Sakura chuckled and blushed a bit. "No no, it's alright. She just fell asleep anyway." Sakura waved her hand dismissively to reassure me.
The crying subsided and I watched as Sasuke walked downstairs with Sarada in his arms. He caught eye contact with Madara and activated his Sharingan. Madara did the same and the two nodded at each other. "Madara Uchiha, reanimated once again. The rumors are true then." Sasuke spoke cooly and approached us. "I understand there's no ill will with you or your intention but I must warn you...if you do wrong by this village, I will not hesitate to raise my hand against you." Sasuke changed his Sharingan into Mangekyo before shifting back into his regular eye. Madara shifted back into his normal eye as well. "Well...now that's out of the way, what brings you here Ayno?" Sakura cut the short tension that was there. I smiled and began to explain. "Apparently we're moving to the Uchiha compound and we'll be the first ones there after all the business with Itachi. We'd also be the only ones there..but it's fairly close to you guys. Anyways, I'm just a little fearful of everything and I wanted to ask respectfully from Sasuke because he's the last living Uchiha besides you by marriage and Sarada." I told Sakura. Sasuke put a hand on my shoulder gently and nodded. "Everything is just fine with me. In fact, we'll move into the compound with you. Besides, there are some things I need to make clear with you Ayno." Sasuke calmly told me. I smiled at both him and Sakura.
"Don't touch her." Madara said sternly as he gently lifted Sasuke's hand off my shoulder and let it drop. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
