"Oh please don't do that Madara! You're scaring me!" I freaked out while he played with Sarada. He kept activating and deactivating his sharingan. Sarada seemed to be amused because she was squealing and giggling. Sasuke and Sakura were watching the activity with some humor and amusement too. Was I the only one worried about the baby?! Sakura gently placed a hand on my shoulder and chuckled. "Ayno it's fine. You know I was weary of Madara even breathing in my baby's direction! Honestly, it's all going to be alright. She's a treasure to him. Sarada is the start of rebuilding the clan and on top of that, she's very adorable. I'm sure it'll be alright. Besides, when she very first opened her eyes in the hospital, Sasuke activated his sharingan at her. I'm not sure what it does, but it seems to be a bonding experience." Sakura explained to me. I sighed shakily and nodded. "I guess it'll be alright then. Sooooooo...." I played with my fingers a little. Sakura raised her eyebrows. "Yes?"

"Can you guys keep an eye on him while I'm gone?"

"...no sorry."

"Why Sakura!?"

"Noooooo. Nope. Sorry."

"Oh come on! Why not!?"

"Because you know he's gonna freak out if you're not here with him. The other day when we were moving things, he exhausted every single point just to see you. He even offered to move everything by himself so he could get it done quickly and help you and Sasuke. He asks about you if you leave to the bathroom too long! He's 100% obsessed with you." Sakura laughed near the end. I sighed and nodded my head. "You're probably right. I think he's never concerned himself with anything other than power. I'm probably his first girlfriend." I groaned and leaned my head on her shoulder while watching Madara coo at the baby. Sakura decided to change the subject. "He sure is good with children. I kinda wonder how he got to be this way, or if he was always like this. Its really cute to watch someone who caused as much destruction as he did, fall victim to the cuteness of a single baby." Sakura said. I guess she was right though. I chuckled and looked around the room until my eyes fell on the clock. "Oh crap, it's all ready past 10:30 am! I gotta get a move on!" As soon as I said this, Madara passed Sarada to Sasuke and stood up quickly. It were as if he knew he was going to be with me today regardless of what we were doing. I rolled my eyes and dashed to the house to grab a bag. "Hurry up Madara!" I shouted at him before heading to to the main opening of the compound. Madara was right behind me so I waited for him to join my side. As we walked into town I noticed his eyes kept watching my hand. I rolled my eyes and reached to grab his hand in mine. Madara looked away quickly but gripped my hand to be sure I wasn't going anywhere.

We made it to the hokage office and I stopped outside of the door. "You can come inside and be silent, but if you're not going to do that..." I pointed to the door. "Stay outside." I waited for him to nod in understanding. When I opened the door, he followed me into the office. There was Orochimaru and Kakashi waiting patiently. "I am so sorry I'm late. I got lost on the path of life." I said Kakashi's signature words. He rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Thats just fine, now appeal to me." Kakashi reminded me why I was here. I nodded and sighed, preparing myself mentally for this.

"Hokage sir, I'm here to appeal on the behalf of Orochimaru. His experiments after the war were allowed in exchange for the peace between him and the leaf village." I began to speak. Kakashi interrupted me. "Yes, but this particular experiment is a severe danger to the leaf village." Kakashi pointed at Madara. I nodded and decided to continue. "That may be so, but he was also an accident. Therefore, Orochimaru should receive no punishment whatsoever. Although he can't find a solution, he's still searching diligently." I proposed my point. Orochimaru nodded at it and we waited for Kakashi. "Alright, that may be so. But what about if he does decide to attack the leaf village. There's no way to defeat him and we can't just go off the honor system alone." I smirked at him because he just dug himself into a corner.

"But you're the one who always goes on a hunch, Kakashi sensei. You went on a hunch with Naruto and everyone and they ended up saving the world from a falling moon and utter destruction. You trust people countless times and I think I deserve your trust for once. Bedsides, apparently Madara has fallen in love with me, and you know about the Uchiha curse of hatred." I continued to explain things to him. Madara disobeyed me by opening his mouth and breaking silence. "I wish to bring peace to this village the way Hashirama intended it. My plan had already proven a failure in the past so I know to live with the will of fire. I wish to join the leaf military forces and assist in the peace of the village and I demand the right as a leaf shinobi to assist on missions."

I glared at Madara for opening his mouth but Kakashi sighed. "Alright then, I guess you're off the hook Orochimaru. Madara, I suppose you can declare your support for the village by joining the anbu. Your superior fighting prowess is more needed there than on simple jounin missions. It'll be a way to prove your worth to the village so, there you go." Kakashi waved his hand dismissively and I stood there with shock riddled on my face. "You guys need to head out of here. I gotta eat lunch soon." Kakashi looked at me and I could see a smile behind his mask. "I have a hunch this'll work out. But you still need to wait the rest of the month out before I bestow you to jounin Aynomae." Kakashi added with amusement. I rolled my eyes and hugged him tightly. I looked behind me to see Orochimaru waving his way out of the office and Madara bowing to Kakashi. I grabbed Madara by the arm and rushed out of the office. "Lets celebrate with some ramen!" I pulled him along with the me. Today was definitely a day of celebration!
