Suddenly all the memories started coming back to me. Justin Drew Bieber. My best friend since kindergarten. We always hung out together no matter what. I used to have strong feelings for him, but got over it when he got his first girlfriend.

"Oh my God. Justin. Is that really you?" I gasped.

"Yeah." Justin barely whispered.

"You've changed so much.." I muttered, taking in his new look. Before he used to be this nerdy kid who no one used to like. He always had his shirt tucked in and glasses. Now... He looks better than ever.

He lost the hair flip he had 3 years back and instead had his hair spiked up. He definitely had more muscles than before. And his taste in clothes has gotten better. But the one thing that hasn't changed are those bright caramel eyes.

"Well yeah. You miss out on a lot after 3 years of not talking to each other." Justin suddenly snapped.

A pang of guilt hit me. I remember the day before freshman year started what had happened between me and Justin.

-----Flashback(3 years ago)-----

"Oh my God Justin. I'm so nervous for tomorrow." I exclaimed.

"Don't be. It'll be fine." Justin said calmly.

"Justin is that you don't understand! I have to fit in with the populars. If I don't, my life will be hell in high school." I whined.

"If you don't fit in with them, you know you'll always have me to be with." Justin suggested.

"Ughh but Justin you don't get it. I can't be seen with people like you." I suddenly blurted.

Looking down at the floor, I covered my mouth. "Oh my God Justin. I-I didn't mean it like that." I stammered.

"It's ok Sky. I get it. You can't be seen with a geeky guy like me. You're embarrassed to be seen with me. I get it." Justin said.

"No Justin. You know I don't mean it like that. You know I really care about you." I whimpered.

"Do you?! Do you really?!! Cause it sure as hell doesn't seem like it!" Justin suddenly yelled, tears rushing down his face.

"Justin you know I do!! Please don't be like this!" I cried, tears threatening to fall down my face.

"You know what Sky? I'm done just being in the background, always being there for you when you don't even do shit for me! I'm just done." Justin said, storming out of the house.

Running after him, I yelled "Justin! Come back!! Please!!" Knowing that I had drawn the line and that he wasn't coming back, I fell to the floor and burst into tears. I lost him. I lost my best friend. The only one who truly cared about me. I lost him just cause of some stupid things I said. After that day, we never spoke to each other again.

------End of Flashback-------

"I-I'm sorry Justin." I stammered.

"Save it. You know you hurt me, Sky. I don't think I can forgive you for that." Justin said, the hurt in his eyes noticeable.

Looking down at my feet, I didn't want anyone to see the tears threatening to fall down my cheeks. "Well um ok.. I guess I'll see you around." I said, quickly running, Chelsey following behind.

I ran into the girls bathroom and locked myself in one of the stalls and started crying.

"Sky..." I heard Chelsey whisper, lightly knocking on the door.

Opening up the stall door, I could see the sadness in Chelsey's eyes. "What happened back there?" Chelsey asked.

Tears forming in the corners of my eyes, I cried, "That Chels, was my best friend. And-And I lost him forever. He hates me."

"Oh come here." Chelsey said, wrapping me in a hug. I sobbed into her arms as all the good memories I had with Justin came flooding back to torture me.

"Look Sky, it's his lost that he lost such a great friend. Don't let it get to you. Let him know that you don't care you guys aren't friends anymore." Chelsey said, looking into my eyes.

Weakly nodding, I wiped the tears away from my eyes. "Here. You can borrow some of my make-up." Chelsey said.

Giving her a weak smile, I applied a new layer of mascara and eyeliner. Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I could notice the bags under my eyes but I didn't care.

Walking out of the bathroom, I started getting stares from many people. What a great way to start my first day of junior year.

Walking into homeroom with Chelsey, I noticed the same pair of caramel colored eyes I saw earlier today land on me.

"Just keep walking. Don't pay any attention to him." Chelsey whispered into my ear.

Nodding my head, I spotted a familiar pair of blue eyes causing me to smile

At least I had Derek and Chelsey with me. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad.
