~Justin's POV~

I was talking to a friend of mine, Rosie to be exact, when a familiar figure came walking in through the doors.

Looking up, I see Skyler with a friend of hers. She looked over at me and I could tell that she's been crying due to how red and swollen her eyes were.

Instinctively, worry started to run through me. Did I really hurt her that bad? Maybe I should go and talk to her...

Looking up again, I saw that she walked over to Derek, the jock of the school, and placed a kiss on his lips.

Rolling my eyes, I inwardly cursed at myself. "Justin... Are you ok?" Rosie asked me.

"Um yeah why wouldn't I be?" I said, looking back at Rosie.

"Well you look like you're about to cry.... Is something going on?" Rosie asked, her face full of worry.

"Um no. Nothing's wrong. Just a little nervous I guess." I said.

"Oh well ok." Rosie said, joining back in the conversation she just had with her friends.

Looking back over to Skyler, I noticed that her baby blue eyes were already staring at me with a hurt look in them.

A sudden pang of guilt hit through me. I hate seeing her like that. Even though we're not friends anymore, I still care about her. I always have.

~Skyler's POV~

"Hey baby." I said, forcing a smile on my face and placing a kiss on Derek's lips.

"Hey. I didn't know you had homeroom with me." Derek said, chuckling lowly.

"Well that's because you haven't even looked at my schedule you goof." I said giggling.

"Ew please stop. None of that today. I have to deal with enough every time I hang out with you guys." Chelsey said, disgusted.

"No one said you had to listen." I said laughing at her. Rolling her eyes, I turned my direction to where Justin was sitting.

I don't know if I should talk to him and try to make things right with him again.

Justin suddenly turned around and started staring straight at me.

Keeping our eyes locked into each others, I felt as if I still had that same strong connection I had with him 3 years ago.

Just then, the bell rang, dismissing us to the 1st period of the day.

Groaning, Derek said, while pouting, "Ugh. Now I have to go all day without seeing you babe."

"Babe it's ok. You get to see me everyday either way." I said, giggling.

"Ok. But I'll still miss you." Derek said, wrapping me in a hug.

"I'll miss you too." I said, placing a kiss on his lips.

Cupping my face into his hands, he tilted his head to the side, deepening the kiss. Sliding his tongue against my bottom lip, I granted him access.

As our tongues fought for dominance somebody yelled, "Get a room!" Causing us to pull apart.

Blushing slightly, Derek took hold of my hand and interlaced out fingers together.

"Let me at least take you to your first period so I don't have to miss you any longer." Derek said, placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Ugh guys stop! You're grossing me out." Chelsey groaned.

"So when you and Brad make out it isn't gross?" I asked, smirking.

Blushing a deep red, Chelsey slapped my arm. "Shut up. That's different."

Rolling my eyes, I laughed lightly. Walking out the door of homeroom, a hand gently grabbed my arm.

"Chelsey what do you-" I said, turning around, noticing who grabbed my arm.

"Sky. We need to talk." Justin said.
