Chapter 5

~Justin's POV~

"Of course Sky. I'll be here for you always." I squeezed her tighter making sure she knows that I will be here for her. It feels so right to have her in my arms again like the old times. It feels as if we can stay like this forever and nothing bad could ever happen to us again.

"Skyler get off of him." a deep voice said. Suddenly, Sky let go of me and faced the voice's direction. "D-Derek. I told Chelsey to take you to the nurse's." she stuttered. "I was going to, but I can't take the risk with this dick trying to hurt you. You need to get away from him." he said.

I clenched my jaw and said, "Look I'm not looking for trouble. Just trying to catch up with an old friend." I flashed a grin to Sky in which she smiled that beautiful smile of hers in return. "I wasn't fucking talking to you now was I? Look you should get the fuck away from me and my girlfriend and just stop speaking to her. You're just looking for trouble. You're lucky I haven't beaten your ass for touching my girlfriend." Derek growled.

"I can do what I want. I can talk to Sky if I want. It's not your problem now is it?" I shrugged. "That's it you little prick." he said and stormed my way. Sky then jumped and pushed his chest back, causing him to stop in his tracks. "Derek stop. If you want I won't talk to him again. I just don't want you to get suspended for fighting on the first day." she said sending my heart plummeting into my stomach. Did she really just agree to not talk to me again?

"I'll just tell him bye and to not speak to me again." she whispered. Derek nodded his head and she walked in my direction. "Justin please don't ever speak to me again. I don't want anything to do with you." Sky said. "You don't mean that do you? We literally just made up." I said hurt clearly visible in my voice. "I'm sorry Justin." she said, but didn't leave yet. "You still have the same number right?" she whispered so low that only I could hear. I gave a quick nod realizing what she was up to. She gave me a quick smile and turned around and walked back to Derek.

I chuckled slightly and sat down on the patio table. "Haven't changed one bit Sky." I said to myself, shaking my head

~Skyler's POV~

I can't believe that just happened. If Derek finds out that I'm planning to talk to Justin he's going to be so mad. Hell he'll probably even try to kill me or Justin.

"Let's take you to the nurse's office." I said, entwining my fingers with Derek's. "Nah babe. I'll go on my own. I don't want you to be late to your next class." he said. "Alright." I replied back, giving him a quick peck on the cheek.

Walking into my 1st period, right in front of me was none other than Justin himself. "Who knew that Justin Drew Bieber was still the smart geek I knew 3 years ago." I said cheekily causing him to look up. "Just because I look different doesn't mean I've become an idiot Sky." he said, smiling. I rolled my eyes playfully and sat next to him.

"Isn't your boyfriend going to be pissed if he finds out you're talking to me?" he asked. I just shrugged my shoulders. "He doesn't need to know." Shaking his head and chuckling he said, "Sky, all these people know you and him. He's gonna find out." "I'll just say I was forced by the teacher or something." I shrugged again. "You're still the same Skyler from 3 years ago." Justin said, smiling. "Who says I've changed?" I laughed. "I have a feeling this is going to be an interesting year." Justin said. I just nodded my head as the bell rang as 1st period began.
