Week Two (5/15/16)

Question One 

My Question: Should I drop my dream job just because it will make me comfortable financially? Should I take on a career that will provide me with way more wealth? Should anybody focus on wealth more than passion? I am feeling a little conflicted sometimes.

Dear ExceedinglyConfused,

To be blunt, money means nothing when you are not happy. If your dream job is to work at McDonalds for instance then I say do it! Do not take your life for granted and get caught up in the drama of the world. In media it is made that a person is only successful if he or she makes a huge amount of money, but money cannot buy happiness! I say you do you, do not overthink things! (Keep in note that you should think things through a tad, make sure that your dream job will be able to support your lifestyle. If not then you may need to make changes but it will be worth it!) Life is too short to waste it concerning about money, after all when we die money will mean nothing. I hope this helped a bit?

Question 2 

Question: I like this girl a lot, but I do not know how to tell her. She has told me she liked me too, and is crushing on me, but we haven't talked about it in a while, we've both been really busy with our own lives. How do I just bring it up again?

Dear StuckInLove,

To keep things simple, just bring it up! Since you two have talked about it before it should not be huge deal. Honestly it is that simple. If she says she is no longer interested then it will suck but at least you know and if she is interested then you will be so happy you finally asked! There is really no in depth response here, just talk to the girl! Communication is key.
