Mizuki closed his eyes awaiting the punch, but after a few seconds he didn't feel anything. He opened his eyes which later widened when he saw a calm Akihiro clutching the girls wrist.
"Leave, right now. You're making a scene."
The girl huffed and dropped her fist, "This relationship is over!" She stomped off and out of the restaurant.
"It never really started," Akihiro sighed and bent down to retrieve his phone. Mizuki winced when he saw a large crack displayed across Akihiro's phone screen.
"O-oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Mizuki placed the food on the small table and snatched Akihiro's phone from his grasp.
"I can pay for it if y-" Akihiro interuppted his sentence.
"No it's fine, I was going to buy another one anyways." He sat down and looked over the food.
"We should hurry up and eat before they call us." Mizuki silently nodded and sat down across from Akihiro, giving him one last glance before digging in.
-
Mizuki's Pov.
We had finished eating and were now back at the restaurant, infront of the thick curtain.
I sighed and glanced over at Akihiro who was typing furiously on his cracked phone.
I pouted and watched as he hit the same button on the phone a couple times before it actually worked.
"A-Akihiro.. I'm sorry about earlier.." I fumbled with the clipboard in my hand.
"Quit apologizing it's irritating."
I pursed my lips and looked back at him, looking over his features.
His eyebrows always seemed to be frowned, as if everything around him was displeasing.
"Mizuki, quit staring at me."
I snapped out of my trance and grinned at him, "Sorry. Just wondering."
He averted his gaze towards me, "Wondering about what?"
"You, you look troubled." He rolled his eyes, "That's none of your business."
I giggled, "Whatever, meanie." I lightly punched his shoulder causing him to flinch.
I dismissed it and turned my attention towards the curtain that suddenly opened.
I stood up and pressed down my suit getting rid of any wrinkles.
"Akihiro, ready the car. We're going to Sato's place." Mr. Sato boomed.
Akihiro bowed and quickly walked out of the restaurant to the valet.
My eyes left Akihiro and returned to Sato's father, who was oddly eyeing me.
He then turned to his son, "So. How did you get your new secretary?"
Sato glanced my way, "He works at the company my books are under. When I told them my other secretary was unavailable they chunked him at me."
Sato's father nodded and hummed to himself, right before he could say anything else Akihiro rushed to his side.
"The car is ready, sir." Sato's father smiled and ruffled his hair causing Akihiro to blush furiously and bite his lip.
My head snapped towards Sato, he only looked away and started towards the restaurant doors.
"Mizuki, hurry up." He grunted and I quickly followed by his side.
I looked back to see Sato's father whispering into Akihiro's ear. He looked so red I thought he was going to explode.
I turned back around and looked at the back of Sato.
Could they possibly be together?
No..
But.. what if they are?
-- Mizuki's Pov.
We entered Sato's large condo, I quickly made my way into the kitchen to make tea.
I was suddenly pulled away by Sato, I followed him silently as we entered the pantry room.
I stood there awkwardly and stared at his back, he was clenching and unclenching his hands.
Like he was anxious about something..
"Mizuki."
I jumped out of my thoughts and glanced up at his serious face.
"Y-yes?" I cursed myself for stuttering.
"I think he knows.."
There was silence once again.
"Um. Why can't we just tell him?"
"Mizuki you don't understand!" He snapped at me.
I sighed, I was tired of this. We never talked about our families, as if he was avoiding the subject.
"You're right Sato, I don't understand. Maybe you should tell me so I can." I stared intensively into his grey eyes.
"Not.. not now okay? Just act like we aren't close for now okay? I think I talked about you to much at the restaurant."
My irritation subsided, "You talked about me? Why?"
He waved me off, "We better get back before he suspects us more."
I sighed and followed him out of the Pantry, but he suddenly stopped at the doorway causing me to bump into his back.
"Sato, what the heck. Move."
I moved over and froze.
There stood Sato's dad with his hands propped on his hips, glaring us down.
I gulped and nervously waved, "Hello Mr. Sato."

This is definitely lame af, I've neglected this book so many times that I don't even know what to do with myself.
I just don't have the inspiration anymore to keep this going.
But I'll try to finish this before I start any other story. (hA the lies I make for myself)
But yeah, I'm planning on writing an ereri fic..
Mhm, well good bye and I'm sorry for the wait.
(Even though people probably don't even read this book anymore)
