I was visiting San Francisco for my mothers 60th birthday. I ate lunch with her and I was going to my hotel to get her present. I was almost there but a quire little shop sign caught my eye. It said Mirrors. I was quite curios so I walked over to the store. It had no windows and a wooden door that had a sign on it that read open. I opened the door and there were stairs that went up. All up the sides of the stairs there were mirrors. When I got to the top i was in a room that was completely covered in mirrors. There were no windows, doors, furniture or lights. In the corner of my eye I saw something move in one of the mirrors. I quickly turned around but it was gone. In one of the mirrors I saw my reflection smile. And then one by one all of the mirrors my reflection was looking at me and smiling. I knew this is what had been haunting me for my entire life. I asked "who are you." I heard my voice say "we are your darkest fear. We are the thing that hides under your bed. We are anything you are afraid of. We are death. We are the devil. And we are God." I was completely terrified. I asked in a trembling voice "Why can I see you but no one else can," they said "because you are special and we need you." "For what" I replied. They said "you will know shortly." And then one by one the mirrors began to crack. I quickly grabbed one of the shards of glass and ran the hell out of there.
