Harry's POV

I woke up this morning feeling a little happier, a little more care free, a little more...pleased? Then it all hit me. Lizzy said yes. She gave me a chance, and what more could I have asked from a broken girl who I happened to care deeply for, maybe even...love? But let's not jump to conclusions here, we just started going out and I am NOT scaring her off, I just got her to be mine.

I forced myself to crawl out of bed, and it was freezing in my bedroom. I must have forgot to turn on the heat last night after my shift at Tilly's. I threw on my sweat pants and a sweater and put some socks on my feet and went to the kitchen to start making myself some tea.

As I was putting the kettle on the stove, I got to some serious thinking. My friends know I've been seeing Lizzy, but I didn't want them to meet her just yet because she was really reserved. Now that she agreed to give me a chance and we were official, I wanted them to meet her. My best friend Niall had texted me last night saying he was having a get together later on tonight, which meant a full on blow out, because everyone was friends with Niall. Who wouldn't want to be friends with the Irish boy? He was kind, and funny, and all the girls loved his accent. He was just a likeable person, and we've been friends for years now, he's my go to mate. His parties always end up being really fun, so maybe Lizzy would go with me to meet my friends. It's not like I had many, but the few I had were the best.

I sent her a quick text and asked her if she wanted to come tonight, and almost immediately she replied she would love to. I told her I would pick her up around 7. I get out of Tilly's at 6, and decided an hour was ample amount of time to get ready. I got dressed for work and drove there, I had a car but I really didn't like using it too much, I hated buying gas when everything was pretty much walking distance away. But I was feeling lazy and my cheap side was going to have to quiet down for a while.

Work was pretty boring, and I texted Lizzy as often as I could between pouring endless cups of coffee and serving people pastries. As soon as the clock hit 6, I was out of there and Bailey laughed at me when I almost tripped on myself out the door. I sped home, took a quick shower, got changed into my white tee shirt, jeans, and converse and texted Lizzy that I was on my way.

When I pulled onto her street, she was already waiting outside, and I almost crashed the car because.....she looked beautiful. I saw the green dress from the end of street, and she just got even more breathtaking as the car got closer. I decided green was my favorite color on her now, and she was wearing a cardigan over the dress, she always gets chills. I hopped out of the car and opened the door for her, but not before I got a quick kiss. Her lips tasted like strawberries, and she smelled like a flower field. Stunning. I slammed the door closed and fast walked over to my side and cranked the heater up a bit.

"So, who's party are we going to again?" she asked. She seemed a bit nervous, I wouldn't blame her. I would be nervous if she were introducing me to a bunch of her friends. But I remembered what she told me, and decided I didn't like her old friends anyway, the rotton lot of teenagers who abandoned her.

"My best friend Niall, we've been pals for a long time now, years. He's such a great guy, and he's a bit more popular than most, so there's probably going to be tons of people there. But I'll introduce you to my friends. There's Niall, Louis, Liam, and Danielle. They're my four best friends, and I'm sure they're going to love you!!" I told her. She smiled and seemed satisfied with my answer. My friends are going to love her, and I have a feeling she'll like them too.
