Come and Look Through My Eyes

Come and look through my eyes
And see what I see
I warn you, you will not see
What you expected to see.
I don't hold the world in wonder,
if I'm honest most of it seems to be a blunder,
a tangled mess like the noise of thunder,
light that lights up the sky and cause great fear, roaring and flashing at one who draws near.
The world is -was?- a sleeping dragon.
Deadly dangerous,
yet we pay it no heed,
we dance closer and closer
and never can see
that the closer we get
the louder we sound,
and the dragon is waking, with abounding wrath
To deal to the people that can never have enough.
The world is a sad place,
And it seems it is a steady
fade into darkness,
But we don't see that we are becoming blind,
I am becoming blind,
Our eyes adjust to the dark and we get on with our lives.
Come and look through my eyes, and see what I see,
Are you sure your ready?
