Ellette-
My heart was racing; pounding so hard in my chest that it hurt. I had to keep running. There was no way I could stop. No way that I could let him know I was lost in this endless mess of trees. It had to end sometime right?
Oh, why had I even run into the forest? It had been such a stupid idea but that was the last thing I needed to focus on. I was breathing hard, small clouds of air leaving my lips with every breath. Lucky for me, all this running blocked out the cold. I glanced behind me and saw nothing. Maybe it would be safe to stop?
Out of nowhere, he attacked and even though I felt I had been running pretty fast. I was soon pinned against the hard trunk of a near by tree. Pain exploded in my head and back but I forced myself not to cry out. He would like that too much and there was no way I was giving him the satisfaction.
“Sweet Elli. I thought I told you not to run.” His voice growled in my ear. I gave an involuntary whimper of fear. No matter how strong I told myself I was, just the sound of his voice was enough to scare me or do…other things...but back to the scary.
“Y-you knew I would run…you let me out. Idiot.” I received a hard slap across the face for the last bit. I was thankful that the cold had numbed my cheeks because I hardly felt it.
“ Come now, enough with the name calling. It’s time to go home.” He said, as he hoisted me over his shoulder. I was too tired to fight and for now I just sagged against him I’d get him for this later.
(( Authors note))
Ok so this is my first time posting anything like this in public. I honestly have no clue where this story will go or if it will be any good but I shall do my best. Please don’t be too harsh
