New Job

Lapis' POV

Finally! College is done!

I got all of my things from my dorm and put it in a box.

I was about to leave when someone came in.

"Oh! Lapis! Leaving so soon?" She said.

It was Sapphire.

My old highschool friend and my room mate.

"Yeah! I'm excited to leave this hell and get on with my life." I said.

She chuckled and gave me a hug.

"Okay. Keep in touch." She said.

I hugged back.

"Sure!" I said.

We released each other and I waved at her.

I walked away from my dorm and placed all of my stuff in my car.

It was a gift from my mother when I turned 18.

I hopped in and headed towards my house.

I barged in the door.

"Hey Mom!" I said.

My mom got startled and jumped.

"Lapis! You're finally here!" She said.

"Yup!" I said.

"Come on. Let's get you fixed up." She said.

"Okay." I said.

After a few weeks...

Wow... This place is huge!

I was in front of a building where I was supposed to be interviewed for a job.

It's called Diamond Authority. D.A for short.

I entered and asked a person on where the interview room is at.

He gave me some directions and I memorized them.

"Thank you." I said.

He nodded and waved at me.

I waved back and started headed to the room.

I arrived there a few minutes early, so I sat at a chair infront of the room.

I was about to fall asleep when a person opened the door.

I quickly widened my eyes and stood up.

"Lapis Lazuli?" The Person said.

"Yes. That's me." I said.

The Person nodded and walked back in.

I followed her and sat infront of her desk.

"My name is Silver. I will be the one to interview you." She said.

I nodded and she started asking questions...

I answered them all, then she nodded.

"Okay. You're in." She said.

"Really?!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, Miss Lazuli." She said.

Yes!!!

"Do you want to meet your new boss?" She asked.

"Wait. You're not my boss?" I asked.

"No no. I'm just her assistant." She said.
