Finally Found You (Sequel)

End

*3 days after Jade has been caught*

Peridot's POV

After that encounter with Jade, I've always stayed along side Lapis waiting for her to gain consciousness.

But this time,  I'm at the D.A Company. Covering for all the time that I lost, Making it up to those business meetings that I have missed, and risen up the business charts since I've been out for more than a week.

But what I noticed was, Silver never came back from her leave.

I've always tried analyzing her involvement to the twins, but I always end up shrugging it off.

It's finally over. I thought.

It's now night time, everyone's leaving to go back to their homes.

I was always left behind since I was the one who opens and closes this building.

But for now, I assigned someone else to close it for me, since I have to visit Lapis before the Visiting Hours end.

I headed straight for the hospital and arrived 2 hours before Visiting Hours ends.

The nurse from before always greeted me whenever I enter, Though she wasn't in her usual spot tonight.

I guess she's busy or went home early.

I then rushed to Lapis' room.

I opened the door.

"W-who's there?" A Voice said.

I froze.

I closed the door and slowly turned around.

"L-Lapis?! You're awake!" I said.

I ran to her and hugged her.

"I'm glad you're awake."

I felt like she was confused.

I immediately pulled away.

"W-who are you?" She said.

What.

No.

This can't happen.

What could possibly make her forget all of her memories?!

I felt a tear escape my eye but I didn't care.

"W-wait don't cry! It was a joke." She said, laughing nervously.

I hate you.

I hugged her again.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" She asked, finally hugging me back.

"For lying to you." I said.

"Lying?"

Tell Her.

"I-I don't have amnesia." I said.

There was a few seconds of silence.

She must be angry..

She hugged me tighter.

"I'm glad to hear that you didn't forget me. I forgive you." She said.

I could feel her crying.

I pulled away from the hug.

I leaned in for a kiss.

Her body jolted at first, but She soon kissed back.

I deepened the kiss and we stayed in that position for a couple of minutes.

She pulled away then pecked me.

"I love you, Peri." She said, hugging me again.

I smiled and hugged her back.

"I love you too, My Lapis."

Nobody's POV

Somewhere, near the hospital room window, a person in the dark stares.

"The war isn't over yet, But I'll let our descendants continue it."
