Tiffany's POV :
Nikki and I ate walking back to Annabeth and Percy's house when I hear the bushes rustle. Now, call me overly whatever, but I can't stand weird noises just following us. Nikki, if course is aboslutely oblivious, in her own world. So therefore, when suddenly, a girl suddenly appears before us, she doesn't see her. I hear a loud bump, and cringing, I slowly open my eyes.
" What were you doing ?" The girl shrieks.
Nikki respondeds with a dazed look. The strange girl that bumped into Nikki is actually sorta pretty. Her black hair with pink streaks is in a long braid, and one of her eyes are red and the other is blue. Who's the oblivious one now ? What kinda person has red eyes ? The girl starts punching Nikki. All this for a freaking bump. That's it. I can't handle it anymore.
" Stop," I tell the girl, glaring at her. I've done this before, I know I look intimidating.
" You can't tell me what to do," the girl sneers. She pulls out a dagger, it's blade gleaming in the bright sunlight. Where is everyone else ?
" Now, Tiffany Miller. Let's settle this like strong woman, " the girl smirks.
I try to look confident but I know I'm failing miserably. Slowly I sheathe my katana from my belt. It's been ages since I've had combat lessons, but I've always loved it. " Oh you're on," I smile. " Just remember, you were the one that started this, so if you die, don't blame me."
